A glint flashed over Eggman's goggles when Lucian's message rang in. It showed that the dear boy was playing nice and doing as he was told. He waited a moment before finally responding.
"Ah, my dear Lucian.. perfectly punctual as always hmm? Once you reach the hide-away island speak the command word and the entrance will be revealed. The island is cloaked, you see, the facilities will be fully stocked with Suncloaks for your undeadite friends so they can fight for longer periods, as well I will be dispatching a pair of combat shuttles loaded with Egg Pawns. They are under orders to follow your commands. I, however, have some quick business to attend to in Downunda so you will have to start the initial bombardment on Legion's defenses without me. Eggman out."
As the portly villain finsihed his divvying of orders, his fortress flew out over Downunda. As he had stated a pair of combat shuttles streamed out from the hangar bays and towards the hide-away island. Eggman boarded his Eggshell vehicle and floated softly and whinsomely down to the sandy brush of Downunda. A small platoon of Swat Bots being his only aide. They moved through the thick forest until coming to a small metallic shack.
"User Dr. Ivo Robotnik, Access Number 3995, Vocal Command; Big Dog."
The forest floor infront of the shack split away revealing a long access ramp. Eggman and his troops pressed forward, entering a huge underground bunker. A myriad of Croc Pawns, an adaptation of his own Pawn robots were busying themselves with various mechanical tasks. The Swat Bots came to a halt and stood watch while Eggman entered what looked like a command room.
"Aha, well if it isn't the fat man himself.. it's been a long time heir Doctor.."
"Yes, I believe so.. it's been about two years since you were last rebuilt, eh leather puss?"
"Hey now, that's uncalled for.. hahaha. So I take it this isn't a friendly house-call.. which must mean you're in need of my services.. what's up... Doc?"
Eggman chuckled and another glint flashed in his goggles.
"The time is upon us, General Crocbot, as I'm sure you've heard I was ousted form my home by a rather tempestuous nubile warlord named Legion. He was in league with some forces of shadow, the Devil himself, as he's known best. But now that Devil has been vanquished, and I have the chance to reclaim my home.. my Empire. I'm pulling out all the stops.. Apophis is at his peak upgrade and the Horsemen should be ready to go soon.. but in all my vast armies, my naval forces pale in comparisson to your own.. so I need your top of the fleet. I will personally be overseeing the air tactics, my newest general Lucian will have the ground covered.. are you ready for this old saw?"
If the mechanical crocodile could smile with a wicked intent, he would be doing so.
"Oh, I was manufactured ready fat man.. you will have the full support of my naval fleet.. all I need is the word."
"Hmm hmm hmm.. excellent.. you have 6 hours to prepare your fleet and move them out. I still have one last piece of business to attend to while I'm here.. do you still have 'The Rotten Egg'?"
The crocodiles eye screens flickered, as if he were blinking in excess.
"You aren't serious? Are you?"
"Quite."
"...It's in my secret storehouse to the north. I'll unlock the door for you. And Doc, if I could get chills.. I'd have them."
"That's the idea m'boy.. that's the idea.."

(OOC: Decided to go with the *shove* instead of the "Head's up")
Amon looked at the cat and couldn't help but chuckle to himself. He walked up behind the shivering feline and pushed him in, making a rather large splash. Amon quickly jumped in after him and secured Tayuu in a psychic bubble. The water muffling his energy waves enough to be able to attempt such a maneuver. He then used his telekenetic abilities to keep the bubble close behind as they streamed through the water, into the access pipe and through on to the other side.
Slowly rising to the surface, Amon could tell his feline friend was panicking. It was a harsh thing to do to the poor boy, but they had very little time for fear. Their lives were at stake and they had to flee as quickly as possible. He broke the bubble at the water line, letting Tayuu scramble to the dry dock and away from the chilly waters. He couldn't help but smirk, it was so classic for Tayuu to be afraid of water. In spite of all his brash ideals, the young fella was truly a traditional cat. He quickly turned his attentions to the strange looking seacraft.
"What on Mobius, is that thing?"

(ooc- thanks!)
CC watches as the two float past her and into the tunnel in an airbubble and from the freaked-out look at Tayuu's face she can tell that he is not enjoying himself. Rolling her eyes she swims freely into the tunnel and closes the gate behind her before swimming quickly, finally breaking above the water line a few seconds after Amon and Tayuu. She gasps for air and lifts herself up onto the wood, shaking the water out of her ears and sneezing once, something that sends pain shooting throughout her body. Hiding the wince she stands up, soaking wet but still smiling as Amon's question reaches her ears. Walking over to the strange contraption she pats it lovingly and looks up at the hedgehog, "This, my love, is the Redtail Special!" The round metallic contrapition looks hardly seaworthy let alone able to do anything underwater but without thinking twice the feline jumps onto the top of it and twists the wheel on the top, grunting and straining a fair bit before she manages to twist round a few times, then lifting up to reveal that it is a hatch. "This is the stealthiest little sub ever... something left over from the days of Robotnik. A relic of the ages, history right in front of our very eyes... and my life saver on more than one occasion! Man, it has been ages but the 'ol girl still looks just as sturdy as ever!"
She giggles and hops inside the hole on top of the vessel, disappearing from view, though her sweet voice sounds from within, "Come on down boys, it will be a bit cramped but there is enough room for all of us! This little baby will get us past most things without being seen, but I would hate to take any chances with the hunters so close on our tails!" Inside, she presses a few buttons and a motor starts after a few choked sputters and curses from the cat within, a bit of light now comes from the entrance and the sound of whirring devices, the only sound in the area.
_____
Kitsa pushed herself closer to the ear of the fox after he had mutterred to himself and then given orders, they were alone once more and her plan was going along a lot more smoothly than she had ever imagined. Something sparked in her mind and she began to wonder if shse could get away with it and deciding to take a bit of a chance she begins to whisper again, her voice low and purring in his ear, "Good, that will teach them indeed... those fools with rue the day they ever decided to mess with you... but what of the others? The other so called fighters for the light? What if they have also taken this path towards trouble and evil? Maybe... just maybe... there is a chance that they too have hurt others are are close to doing so. It is your job to stop those foolish mobians from hurting anyone else! You should find them all... track down all that fought for the Goddess and then abandoned her... abandoned you..."
She stops herself there, fearing that perhaps she had said too much and gone too far, but it was too good of a chance to give up and if there was any time to do this, now was the best time! While he was still smarting from his defeat at the hand of those who had been his friends....

The experience in the bubble had been awfully traumatic for Tayuu. The shock of hitting the surface before taking in a full mouthful of liquid and the disbelief that Amon pushed him in the water in the first place, somewhat set his mind in hysteria. If the psychic hedgehog had delved into his mind at that moment he would have regretted it. Even though Amon’s power had somewhat dissolved or relocated the water around Tayuu to create the bubble, the cat was still sodden and up to his boots in that which he had coughed up and that which had dripped off his fur. Tayuu had never felt so helpless in his whole life and after he finally stopped struggling in the bubble, he placed his soggy gloved paws against the inner surfaced and watched as he was forced to follow Amon. Although they were all being chased and needed to hurry, Tayuu couldn’t help but feel anger towards his teacher amongst his gripping fear of the body of water just a centimetre away. He also felt that this might be some sort of revenge for what he accidentally did earlier. That was something his understood; revenge. That was how people, especially the homeless, were brought up in the Casino Zone, innocent or not. It must have been so, the hedgehog was punishing him.
The moment the bubble broke the waterline, Tayuu scrambled as best he could, using his legs to kick hastily for just a few seconds before grabbing hold of the dock. In the blink of an eye he was now on all fours on the dock and rapidly shaking his entire body, sending drops of water everywhere. Even his tail, which was pointing directly up, was vibrating from the base to the tip to shake off the excess water. He gasped a few times, his eyes empty in a gaze at the solid ground below him. Big evil shadow spiders from other planes of existence he could handle… water, he could not. If anything could knock him out of his normal bright and breezy mood, it was what had just happened.
After a few seconds his mind convinced him he was safe but the shock was still there. Suddenly something else dawned on him. He reached inside one of his pockets and felt around. Of course the kunai and his daggers would be fine, but… He pulled out a soggy lump of white pulp. It used to be his little old writing pad that he used to make notes with and more recently had CC autograph. Without a word he simply dropped it into the water beside and quietly hopped up onto the sub when CC called. Avoiding eye contact with either comrade, he dropped into the hatchway and quickly positioned himself at the back, the further position away from CC. Despite the worry of being submerged again, this time in a large sardine can, he could only just follow whatever they said. He continued to stay silent and focused on calming himself down. The water was no longer a threat to him… right?

Myst eyed the voracious looking serpent up and down. She studied it intently, her new heightened senses picking up the wafting emminence of archane magicks. This serpent was centuries, perhaps millenia old. With age comes wisdom, but also a decline in ability. She pondered how a serpent like this had anything to offer her. But, she knew that co-operatiig with this ancient demon was a part of her new unlife.
"Gnoglia.. I imagine that coersion will not be an easy feat, howeevr I doubt even in your years of experience you have dealt with one like me.."
This strange level of arrogance and confidance was refreshing. She was no longer restrained or timid. She could be brash and have the necesarry might to back up her bold claims. She stared long into the serpent's eyes. Haze streaming off of her body, the bone chilling cold slowly crept into the dreamlike world. A cold blooded serpent, demonic or not, would not be able to stand the harsh chill for long.

Lucian turned off the monitor with a hiss. His patience was being to wear thin with all this toadying about. True, he was currently in the robots debt and destroying Legion after his tit for tat in Ice Cap Zone would be most appealing but he irked at having to take orders from a sentient tin can. Even if it was the famous Warlord Ivo Robotnik, or what was left of him. But then a slow smile came over him, and he remembered what the Elder's tried to impress upon him back at the Academy so many millenia ago.
All good things come to those who wait. For what is time to a creature that can not heed Thanatos' Call?
When the contingent of undead reached the port all was quiet save for the rowdiest of ale houses and taverns. Even the guards and sentries were dozing off at the end of their shift when a wave of undead flesh breeched their walls like a tsunami. This was not total annhilation like it was with the smaller settlements, a tight stream of soliders marching and consuming what was in their path was the only destruction the small port town expereinced. Though anyone foolish enough to step outside on the main throughfare was gone before they could cry to the heavens asking why the Goddess had forsaken them.
So quick was the undead insurgance that those left alive in the wake felt it was all some horrible dream, a nightmare set on by the cold night air. That was until they saw the blood spatters and claw marks on the doors and walls of those that had resisted or simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Few knew what to make of it, vampires and monsters of this ilk were known by the clergy and historians of ancient texts, not your common person. So long it had been since an army of this nature had coarsed through the land like the plague that many wrote it off as mauradurs in the night and not something far more vile. Certainly there was no shortage of theives in the Shifting Sands Zone.
Most had no idea what happened, but those guarding the port never got to report to their superiors that a large tanker, present to fill up on oil and goods in the sandy locale had gone missing at morning. Nor, try as they might could they locate the large ship as it was very much off the map. Little did they know a small dragon shaped computer was opperating the tanker and nothing those primative sods could muster could rival his opperating system. Beneath a square, and slightly moist umbrella at high noon, Lucian took a status report from Duro over his communicator.
"Warning: Time tables show the sun is at it's apex Master Ostrum! How are you surviving on the deck!?!"
"The captain was kind enough to lend me his umbrella, though I had to patch it in places to completely cover me from the sun. The troops are bellow resting to disembark on the island just after sunset. Have you anything else to report Duro?"
"Inquiry: Nothing pertainant at this time, though my scan does read a biological signature right above you. .oh. Right. Duro out."
Lucian smiled at the robots revelation and sipped a large mug filled with a red liquid that needed be described further to know it's contents. Two hands, the bones removed and pale from blood loss flapped lightly in the sea breeze and occationally dripped no and again. The vampire didn't mind.

CC spares a look behind her, inbetween pressing buttons and getting things started on the vessel, at the feline behind her, crouched into a corner of the ship. His wide eyes, unhappy face and we fur making him look quite worse for wear. Wordlessly, CC begnis to rumage around in a nearby locker and soon pulls out a clean orange towel. She sniffs it a few times and then grins, tossing it to Tayuu, "Here ya go! Should help get all that water off your fur and if you want, there should be some spare clothing somewhere around here to change into!"
She smiles and goes back to rummaging in the locker, pulling out another two towels before closing the small metal door. Tossing the other towel to Amon she puts her own around her neck and bounds in a quick step to the hatch above her head, popping out for just a moment, long enough to grab the wheel underneath and pull the large metal lid shut. She tightens it happily and tightly, wincing a bit seemingly with the strain but in truth it is for the pain throughout her entire body.
A moment later she is back at the main console, she flicks a switch and suddenly light and a bit of the underwater realm can be seen out of the window in front of them. "Well, here we go. May be a bit bumpy - I have not navigated this thing in years!" She laughs cheerfully and reaches for a handle, which she pulls - the vessel lurches forward suddenly but soon settles down to a smooth pace as the female feline gets them moving on the right track to Robotropolis.
"I don't think that we will have much to worry about in the 'Trop, last time I was there it was deader than. Well, it was sure quiet, I will tell you that much! Good place to hide out, kind of creepy, but I am sure that after some of the things that you deal with in Casinopolis, this should be nothing! And it should not take us too long to get there... hopefully my good 'ol hidey hole is still there!"

Amon rested as comfortabley as he could against the back of the confined cock pit of the submersible. His mind wandering the area around them, searching for the hum of enemy vessels, whether of the Hunter Corps or Legion's army. He felt a bit bad for having to push the frightened Tayuu into the water like that, but the boy probably knew that it was for the best considering the mess they were all in. Still, he decided to make the effort to apologize. He opened his eyes and turned his head to face Tayuu.
"Listen, I hope you aren't too mad about what happened back there. You understand why I had to take such a drastic action by pushing you in the water like that. But never the less, I'd like to apologize for putting you through the ordeal.."
The solemn hedgehog extended his hand, only slightly due to the small space, but the gesture meant all the same.

The towel flopped onto Tayuu’s head and he firmly brushed it down his face before pulling it back and ragging it through his now much soggier spiky hair. He then took off his reddish brown tunic and plopped it in front of himself, proceeding to then dry off the rest of his body. That was a bonus he thought, CC couldn’t be completely annoyed at him if she gave him a towel. He tried not to think about it too much however. Upon listening to CC, he began to be very curious about their destination, it sounded rather interesting for someone of his own character. He had already forgotten most of the intimidating rumours he had heard about the place in the past.
Tayuu’s ears picked up as Amon spoke his apology. To be honest, he never thought he’d hear such from the superior teacher. Still speechless, more due to his trauma rather than the unexpected apology, Tayuu simply nodded and then quickly wiped one of his gloved hands dry when he saw Amon extend his hand. Tayuu forced a smile and shook his hand for a couple of seconds. This was also good… maybe it was out of pity, but they didn’t seem to hate him. He’d try to make it up to them again later.
Tayuu’s smile faded after Amon turned back around. His eyes scanning his cramped surroundings as he slowly finished drying himself. Surrounded by so much water, he felt trapped and nervous. It wasn’t really his style to be such a worrier, but water was possibly his one true weakness. He couldn’t wait til they reached the surface.

Spending most of her time concentrating on maneuvering the vessel through an underwater maze and keeping herself from thinking about the immense pain that she is in, CC barely notices that Tayuu is strangely quiet. Still, something bothers the feline and she cannot exactly put her paws on what... the knowledge that up above the water line Redtail is sending out four various and strange ships in different directions in order to confuse any who may be chasing them does not really set her mind at ease. Even with that it would only take the ships being pulled over by the hunters and a quick search to prove that they are not onboard. Of course, that would mean a search of the land and of course figuring out if they missed a teleportation or anything else like that. There were many options to be followed, but if CC knew Stealth half as well as she imagined she knew him, he would know where she was heading and would be doing his best to not let them get anywhere even close.
She blinks a few times, her vision going blurry, and takes a deep berath, surprised by the pain that she feels, strong enough to almost make her black out. In a worried voice she calls out through clenched teeth, her tail twitching nervously and ears against her head, "Someone please find a med kit and fast..." she manages to mutter, "There should be one in one of the lockers."

Without even a second thought Amon put his telekenesis in overdrive, the locker scantly above Tayuu's head flung open and the med kit floated out over towards CC. After a moment, Amon concentrated, pinpointing what areas of her body had been affected most in the battle against the spider, easing those pains first with a mild shot of novacaine. Enough to dull the pain but keep her alert enough to remain on track. Bandages and bottles of salve and anti-biotics hovered around the feline, tending to the various wounds around her body. A small amount of Amon's telekenetic energy was focused on keeping her hands steady, easing the craft through the winding coral maze, the staggaring shipwrecks and other oceanic obstacles.
Eventually, Amon would have to fully take the controls himself and navigate by scanning Ci Ci's memories of the surroundings, but for the time being, the templar concentrated on treating her pains. He was immensely worried, but remained calm as he could.. the last thing any of them needed was for the one among them who should be the calmest to start panicking. He wasn't entirely sure if it was just her physical wounds causing her the intense trauma, because the reading of pain was too great to distinguish anything else.. but Amon thought that it would at least be a start..

Tayuu had gone to make a move on finding the first aid box but Amon easily and quickly took control of the situation with his powers. He was like some sort of telekenetic doctor on a mission. The cat boy watched quietly, he was there to help if asked, but he doubted there was anything he could do at this time but get in the way.

CC sighs and relaxes as the novocaine sets in, enough to keep the pain from clouding her thoughts and relflexes but not enough to drown it out entirely. She could tell from the nature of the hurts that she definately had a broken rib or two and most of the scratches and other things on the outside were being taken care of by the carefully placed bandages and other eerily floating medical supplies. Unfortuantely, there was no way to tell if there was any more dangerous issues with her health, not until they got somewhere safe and that was not going to happen any time soon.
She smiles over at Amon, thanking him with her eyes before glancing over at Tayuu who is quiet and moody in the corner, "Tayuu, sorry to drag you into all of this - being on the run is kind of a part of my life I get. Just so you are aware, there is a good chance that i am more hurt than what is just on the outside" She takes a short breath and continues, seeming to have to force herself to admit to the weaknesses, "I am fine for now and should be, but if -anything- happens run and hide. There are many places in the ruins to keep yourself safe and the Hunters do not know enough about you, unless you have been on their radar before, to have much care in finding you. There should be food supplies scatterred around the area and once you are fairly certain that no one will see you, you can head back to Casinopolis. Or, if you think the heat is still on, stay with Redtail, he is always in need of good workers and would take care of you."
She smiles and turns her attention back to maneuvering the vessel, "We are drawing closer, but still have a good ways to go. If you have any concerns, voice them now because I do not know what we are going to find on the other side, could be anything really! We will try and stick together, but don't you worry - if we lose track of one another we can always find eachother again! And the Goddess willing, we will all be kept safe and sound through out this..."
The feline goes quiet, having said her piece and doing her best not to let the young cat in on her worries and fears, she could not hide them from Amon, but at least one of the group should be positive and cheerful, the lack of bounciness in Tayuu frightened and frustrated CC, but she could only guess at the source of the problems.
