Just as the last rays of the sun had finally fallen beneath the emerald tinted waves a pale white hand rose from the inky depths of the unmanned tanker having finally made it's way across the small stretch of water to the island at Ivo's coordinants. Tallon like finger nails raked the air as he jumped the rest of the way up to the deck, still warm from it's sunset bath. Eyes akin to glowing embers the undeadite tapped a strange cane now and again on the deck. It's eeiry red light casting an impure glow as each tap brought the sound of rousing troops bellow.
When the robot advance guard took control of the ship's control tower Lucian didn't even bat an eyelash. He had hoped that Robotnik would take over from here, having no intrest in trying to convince any of the surviving crew members to dock the vessel on the Ivo captured isle. A ferral howl rent the early twilight as the Legion of Undeath marched from it's metal tomb to be equipped as Ivo had ordered. Myst, busy with her new associate was in her cabin locked away in her coffin doing battle with it.
Smiling wide Lucian made his way to the command center to recieve new orders for how they were to embark on uprooting the wolf from Robotropolis. The sentries didn't flinch when he started to laugh and twirl his skull topped cane with penache' and style. But if they could have, they would have.

Tayuu frowned as CC spoke, at first he thought she was underestimating him, but then he realized she was just protecting him. He raised his head to look at her, the conversation distracting him from his current fear of the surrounding water; “It’s ok, it was my choice to come with you guys. This kind of stuff is natural to me too, it’s just that I’m able to lose whoever’s following me very quickly. This is different, I’ve changed a bit…”
The catboy paused for a second in realisation that he had changed, in the past he would have just run away. None of this was of his concern and he certainly didn’t need to be on any radar due to his line of work, not after the years of going undetected in any way.
He continued, obviously not used to baring himself to others; “The same back with that big spider and the hunters that landed right afterwards, I could have easily escaped. I could have run and vanished… but you guys. You… both remind me of the one true friend I actually have in this world. Ones I can trust. I don’t know you guys that well, but I think I’m with you right now for a reason. I felt something before… ahh, it’s hard to explain. I’m not used to this.”
A more serious look came onto his face; “Both of you listen well. If I ever do run from a situation, it will be because I know I can’t do anything else. I’ll be honest, I’d rather run than die or be caught. If it involves you two I’ll do my best, if those law people caught you, I would have come to try and save you because I feel you’d do the same for me. I’ll follow you guys until it stops feeling right.”
Tayuu then sighed and grumbled; “Ahh, I was trying to do a cool speech there, I can never get my feelings across right. My only major concern right now is you CC, checking if you’re completely ok… oh and getting the hell away from this water… did I ever tell you I don’t like water?”

In the landscape of her ferral mind, the fridgid mountain scale, Myst stood before the incarnation of Gnoglia. The representation of the demon's power and strengths, this twisting serpent. Here in this imaginary plain her powers were still opted to her, and she had already begun to drop the temperature. She could see already the immense serpent beginning to shudder slightly, hissing and snarling. Then, to her surprise, a voice called into her thoughts. They were in a strange language, archane, much like the beast itself.
The voice had a femenine quality, but had the typical distortions that a demonic voice would normally carry. Though she did not know the language, somehow she understood every word spoken to her.
"Nahkt terusk, sa'lah Myryst, eht sha'uri nahn krush."
Myst simply smirked, showing a single fang.
"I guess I'll just have to take it up a notch then, or should I say down?"
She concentrated harder on dropping the temperature, ice began to form on the inner walls of the cave, cracking and breaking the rock. The serpent slowly started to slip down from its aggresive stance into a position recoil. The bitter cold began to form ice crystals on the snake's skin finally, it fell to the ground, shivering and twitching. Myst walked over to it and leaned inward, she was going to form a collar of ice around the serpents neck, as her mark. But, much to her surprise, the serpent's tail came whipping around and struck her back.
"Still some fight in you huh? No matter, the more you struggle, the stronger the inevitable bonding will be.."
The serpent hissed.
"Nahn, kolikash seruk ti noght Myryst, eht sig hurj ah'julim."
Myst snarled at the serpent, what it had said was to the effect of "No, there will be no bonding, you are too weak." and this almost caused Myst to lose her focus, however, she calmed herself down. Walked straight up to the serpent once more and as the tail came whipping around again, she caught it in her hands, stinging the reptillian skin with her cold touch. It winced in pain and hissed at the sensation.
"Perhaps, I am weak in some ways, I am still adjusting to my new unlife.. but remember this, with time comes mastery.. and besides, I doubt even in your millenia of existance you've dealt with an elemental vampire.."
The snake stopped shifting and twisting. It stopped hissing and spiting. The ice around the cave started to melt away, the sores caused by Mysts icy touch vanished as well. This caught Myst off guard, perhaps she'd made a mistake.. but she soon saw that the snake was in fact submitting. It slithered upright once more, bowing its head. Myst smirked her fanged smile once more and formed the spiked collar of ice around its neck.
In a blurring motion, the vision shot back in an extreme out-zoom as Myst opened her eyes. The lid of her frozen coffin opened up and then the box melted away. She stood up, stretched and flitted through a box of clothing left in the cabin by its former occupant.
"The only female on the entire ship.. occupied this room.. and wouldn't you know it.. none of these clothes are my size..."
She sighed and made her way above deck fo the ship, it seemed Lucian had already hopped ashore to the command post. She followed suit, making a staircase of ice from the bough of the ship to the beach below. It was artificial of course, simulated sand holographics. The 'shore' was in fact cold steel. She miandered into the base and made her way through the halls. She pushed over an undeadite and grabbed the device it had been carrying.
"Thanks for holding this for me love.. you're a doll."
The creature just turned back around and grabbed another device. It was entirely unphased by her rather arrogant action. She finally made her way into the command room where she saw Lucian adorned in splendor with his flashy cane was standing at a console. With a slight tone of sass in her voice she spoke out:
"So, how long have you been in the employ of Dr. Eggman.. Master Lucian..?"

Lucian had just finished recieving his marching orders from Ivo's rellay when Myst entered. She appeared invigorated and it was no small doing to the gem inside her coat feeding her unlife and amplying her own fell power.
"Long enough in enough realms to know you either side with a faction early on or be eaten up by it later in the game. I prefer to be on top of matters and aside from a Divine Source he has the best interplanetary information there is to be had on Mobius Prime. I've been with Ivo for a little over a year now, after hopping from one plane of existance to another I ended up in a realm where the Reaper knew me, and of course, did not like me. So he thought to banish me to the Zone of Silence, foolish deathog. Instead I ended up here, in the Prime Reality, the very best place to start taking over everything. Besides, at the rate in which the army grows we'll be a faction in and of ourselves with in the decade. As there are never any shortage of prey to be had the way these Furred-Ones breed. No offense . . ."
From his tone of voice it was a situational nicety and certainly not heart felt, but respect was earned for those that survived the change this well intact.
"I see you and your new playmate are getting along well, this is good, you'll be testing your freshly acquired union in battle rather soon. Let us see how those liquid filled centurions handle being frozen solid or torn to pieces, myes? We leave with out a moment's notice. We are to be the ground troops shocking the earth with our forces while Robotnik handles the air. He's picking up something powerful in the Downunda and we need to remove the surface to air projectile instilations before the calvary arrives. We're already moving on this robotic island to Robotropolis. In an hours time you'll get your first taste of blood as we reclaim the great Metal City of Mobius!"
The villain cackled and not for the first time Myst pondered if the vampire overlander had all his buttons for his snowman. But when his mirth pinched eyes opened again the feral preditor underneath left no question in her mind that Lucian was quite in control of himself and his actions. At least, for now.

CC listens to the young feline's words and smiles when she has a moment to look back at him, "Thank you for your honesty, it is definately appreciated and it is good to know that you are in this for the long haul. My feelings of trust and everything are currently a bit shatterred due to the actions of our dear old friend Stealth." She pauses, reflecting back upon what had happened not so very long ago - fighting alongside the fox against the forces of the evil God Syntaru and helping defeat him. The bantering and the playfullness that she knew was something just on the surface, as Stealth fought against the darkness that had threatened to consume him. It seemed as if perhaps this time away from everyone had allowed some of that darkness a tighter grip upon his soul, "He is a good Mobian, Stealth is, and whatever it is that has gotten to him I swear that I will sort him out, even if I have to beat the sense into him!"
Her words are strong but caring and compassionate, her feelings towards her friend being those of any that she would consider to be close to her. Thoughts of the others flit through her mind and she glances at Amon, sadness in her emerald eyes, "You know, maybe it is our fault - none of us speak anymore. We all just left to live our own lives, heck, I could not even tell you where anyone is and to be truthful, I did not even give it a second thought until now." CC turns her attention back to navigating although she cocks her head to one side curiously, "Sorry 'bout that Tayuu... just got me thinking of old times really. Heh... and you never did tell me that you don't like water! Unfortunate thing that, especially because this is the best way to get to Robotropolis without being noticed! Don't worry, we will soon be upon solid ground once more, though I can't promise that it is going to be comfortable!"

Eggman clicked off his radio after confirming Lucian's arrival at the secret island. He was now inside a large warehouse, cold and dark, like every machine in Eggman's army. He walked over to a wall and clicked on a lightswitch, slowly incandescent bulbs began to flicker on and brighten the large expanse. In the center of teh room, was a massive Egg shaped device, only scantly bigger than the Doctor himself. Eggman walked up to it and gently patted it at the top.
"Yes, drastic time, drastic measure.. and all that hooplah.. it's no concern to me.. all I care about is reclaiming my Empire, and if I can't do that, then no one will have it. It is as simple as that.. and I won't hesitate to hatch this little darling should the moment arrive."
Eggman began to laugh maniacally for a moment, then stopped himself. He stepped away from the giant egg and snapped his fingers. The SwatBots that had been accompanying him moved and and began securing the device for transport. Loading it on a hover dolly to be taken to the ship. A sadistic grin couldn't help but manifest on the Doctor's face. Here was a man, mostly machine, who was on his last legs. Fallen beyon dthe edge of reason and sanity, all to claim that which he stole to begin with.
Truly, Eggman was on the brink, Goddess help anyone who gets caught in his path. For the Doctor had more tricks up his sleeve than Mobius' greatest Magician, David Crane. He had the magnificant Dragon Apophis, his precious pet. He had his greatest achievments, the Four Horsemen, who would soon be ready for combat.. he had Lucian and his undeadite army under his mechanical wing. A powerful alliance indeed. And now, he had his final straw, his last hurrah.. the Rotten Egg that spoiled the batch.
In the Chaos Realm, things were as tense as the surface of Mobius itself. Shae had called a meeting of the remaining Vanguards, informing them of the going's on across Mobius.
"But how can that be? Nothing could have survived down on that island!"
"He's right, there's no way.. you yourself delivered the final explosive blast.. I don't understand this."
"Look, I know that it is hard to accept, but she is still alive down there and she has fully developed into a Shadow Queen.. I do not know where she is, but I do know that she has minions out there on Mobius doing reconaissence.. and she can bring countless more to the surface any time she wants.."
"Where is Paladin? Shouldn't he be here?"
"I gave Paladin a leave of absence, the Celestial Pool is in order for as long as he will be gone. Besides, he can always be brought bcack in an instant if need be.. for now we can plan out what we're going to do about Tala.. and let's hope that she cannot find a way to revive the only person in all dimensions who could bring Syntaru back from the Eternity Flow.."
The Vanguards at the table collectively shuddered at Shae's final words. The thought of having to face a fully developed Shadow Queen, the Shadow Mage and a reborn Syntaru was not something they desired..

Imagine if you will that you are a grain of sand, a singular point or speck in a void of countless miles of nothing. A great expanse in which you are the only thing you can see, sense, or generally comprehend. Now imagine a fully grown overlander suddenly decided to loom over you, in all your close to two dimensional existance. The overlander's very size would dwarf you but also his dimensions, his abilities, his reach and influence over the nothing in which you sit. Now with something to compare yourself to you realize how little you are, how small and insignifigant. While on the other hand this godlike people peers down at you like a blemish on a black canvas of nothing.
It is this feeling that I decribe is what it is most like to meet a God in their own personal being. Many would go blind, mad, or worse at the notion of seeing in dimension or in possiblities so far greater than yourself. Trying to wrap your mind around the sun when you are but an insect. An abstract and far distant being that is so much more than what you could ever attain should your lifespan be infinite and your resources bottomless.
The green glowing flames of the sun that looked over the land of the dead was said by few to be the Eye of Thanatos, and fewer still to realize that the moniker was no misnomer. Here in Death's Office the skull of the God was plain as day, whilst invisible else where in the Zone Between Zones. The great burning sphere like a pupilless eye, the other socket empty of all light, representing the duality and wounding nature of Death it's self.
The imperfect god. The judging god. The most merciful god. Thanatos himself.
"So nice to see you again Father, and here I won't have nightmares for weeks on end after looking upon you as a mortal. You know, being DEAD and all."
The skull of immense size zoomed right infront of the deathog standing on nothing, in nothing, with nothing to use as a measure of time and space other than the boney sphere. A dark spot of less brilliant green flame like a tiny pupil gazed at the imputent vanguard. The very iris dwarfing him, let alone the rest of the flaming eye or the cavernous skull. So close and yet so far away the mouth with no jawbone rang out, rattling Twilight to his Soul.
"YOU HAVE LOST YOUR BALLENCE, YOUR IMPARTIALITY. YOU ARE NOTHING MORE THAN A PAWN TO THE GODDESS YOU NOW SERVE. KNOW YOU THE THOUSANDS OF VANGUARDS SHE HAS USED IN HER HOLY WAR, AND HOW MANY NOW RESIDE IN MY REALM? DIDST YOU NOT FIGHT SYNTARU AS A LAD TO MAINTAIN YOUR STANCE OF NEUTRALITY, AND NOW YOU HAVE GONE THE OTHER WAY?! YOU HAVE DISAPOINTED ME SON, AND THAT COMES WITH A PRICE."
"You would dare speak to me of price! Have you ever loved another more than you would yourself or your role in the universe? NO! Because Chronos made it so you can't! Have you ever thought of choosing a side or going your own way instead of taking what those two spoiled brats leave by the way side? NO! Because you are too afraid.
And that is the greatest irony of all. Of all the mortals I've collected every last one of them feared death in life at some point and especially near the end. Even if they believed in something happening afterwards they always feared YOU Father. And in the end I am MOST disapointed to learn you are no better. You fear your place just as much, nay, more than them. Because while you are infinate as the stars and the void you still fear your place in life and unlife. You thought to live through me as Syntaru does his puppet demons or Aurora her vanguards.
But let me clarify something for your Father, I do respect her, and I serve her court. But ultimately our goals coincided and our union was a means to an end. I have seen the darkest depth, the most brilliant spires, and the infinite grays of your own realm and have been left wanting. I always felt there was more, something else out there and it took me meeting Him to finally see what my mortal eyes, and sense of the soul refused to believe.
There is another option, and with the sand in my hand I choose it!"
The forced perspective had blinded Thanatos to a very important fact that now dawned upon him. Sand had started pool at Paladin's feet, shimmering black, gray, and white makig tiny ripples outward. But having finally gotten the God to see him in his own realm where his essence was most condensed Twilight was finally caring out his orders.
The sand rilled up and the skull tried to back away, shunk back upon it's self, reducing back down to a skeleton clothed in rags and a scythe strapped to it's back. The grains bound the form and the God struggled before the tall deathog, it's empty sockets staring out in disbelief as the vanguard stepped right up to his former Father. The vanguard placed his hands under the skull's chin and whispered.
"You could have saved her you know. I've known ever since I Syntaru gave me the curse to rend souls from a mortal's body with my truely bare hands. But instead you worried that I would love her, and find light in her, and for that you let Cici die in my realm and pass on beyond my reach and my love.
I've hated you for that, so you'll have to forgive me for doing this."
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?"
A sharp twist and the crack was hardly audible. The sand closed about the now still bones and the vanguard carried the lifeless, lightless skull under his arm. Meanwhile in the Land of the Dead, the one green sun warped and warbled. Now replaced with a keenly observant red one, the eyes of a deathog.

Stealth narrowed his eyes, the voice's words echoning in his mind as he borded the transport. the work here in casino polis was doen now and he had been given clearance to chase after the fugitives...to meet them at their destrination, yes..he was to make a high altitude airdrop into the metal city itself and capture the fugitives one bye one and then wait for EDF extraction. the fox smiled to himself as the ship lifted off. Soon he would get those murderign bastards....and they would pay, pay dearly for their crimes.
Legion chuckled to himself, a pelased dark note that rang down the lab corridors, the scorpion tanks were going rather smoothly, in fact the firstwaves of them were comming off the lines, along with the mark six hydra models and his latest horror and terror drone attack bots. He then turned and walked ot another monitor, geists enchancements were going smoothly and what he leanred from her was beign isntaleld in his new mark 3 centurions. He had to admit with the citys production facilities..he had formed an army that would of taken him mothns..in only a few short days..wth his sub and aircraft carrier fleet now partolling the waters, and underground airbases hidden in the moutnains and other areas. Soon the world will tremble at his feet. the wolf couldnt help but laugh as he walked out of the lab, and into another section with the ominious words: PAranormal destructionand defense division.

Things had been going along well and by all of her calculations they would be entering in close to Robotropolis soon and soon she would have to rely only upon her sense of sight to maneuver around the underwater maze as the ships equipment would go on the fritz due to the strange energies around the entire area. Looking out the windows she scowls taking her eyes away to rub them with the back of her paws for a moment before looking back, "What the?"
Flipping a few switches so that brighter lights shine in front she studies the area in front of them quite thoroughly before hurriedly shutting them off again. She keeps going, using a lower beam of light which makes it harder to guide herself through the mess of old metallic structures and boats that come into view eerily like ghosts of the giant monoliths of the past. Her eyes are alert and her tail twitches in distinct aggitation as she looks around as if expecting something to jump out at her. CC's shoulders tense briefly and she seems to freeze in mid motion - something that takes a mere second before she recovers and hurries about pressing various buttons and maneuvering downwards. The vessel slows down, settling gently upon the ground for a moment and CC goes about shutting off all lighting equipment and engines. Before Amon or Tayuu can say a word she turns to them quickly, wincing at the pain it obviously causes her, "There is something out there sweeping the area... but as far as I know the Hunters tend to stay away from the underwater and really, they couldn't have figured us out that quickly even with Stealth's knowledge of the area. It is sweeping the area and if we are lucky it will sweep just over us and pass by." She closes her eyes and continues talking, though it seems like she is muttering more to herself, "it doesn't make any sense... this place should be empty and NO ONE ever comes here... I don't get it. Maybe I am just seeing things..."
~~~
The tall piratical woman had moved quickly once Twilight had bid her adieu by tossing a large golden key in her direction and then making his exit or rather, entrance, into the room of Death himself. Her long legs carried her quickly to the treasure room and her ability to stick quietly to the shadows kept her out of the way of the few gaurds around, though she expected more in the home of the Lord of the lands. The more she thought of it though, the more she was forced to restrain a giggle, of course HE would not need gaurds here, He watched over all. Her mind flashes towards the deathog who was currently having an audience with Death and she smiles to herself, shaking her head slightly, "What are ye getting yerself into, heck, what do I be gettin' -myself- into?!"
Finally she comes to a large door with an incredibly old looking lock upon it. Taking the well-worn key within her leather-gloved hand she inserts it and turns, feeling it move and then stop with a satisfying click. She removes the key and opens the door, walking into a large and dimly lit room, the only light coming from a series of glowing orbs that begin to shine brightly upon the treasure-lover's face, as if turning the key and opening the door has turned them on as well. She closes the door behind her and begins to look around, eventually coming to the one orb with a large anchor attatched to it and looking at it with a curious grin upon her playful face, "Well, lets see what ye have seen fit to gift upon me..." she says quietly, laying one hand upon the orb and feeling it draw her in as it transports her outside of the treasure room to another place within the realm.
Tayuu scurried forward a little as the vessel stopped dead and tried to look through the main windows. He was obviously tense about the increased feeling of being trapped underwater. He bit at his thumb for a moment, and tried to keep his mind off it and onto less phobic dangers.
Tayuu whispered quietly although he wasn’t sure if he needed to; “If you don’t think it’s that Stealth guy, then who’s out there? Maybe it’s some automated defence system or something to keep us out.” His mind wandered and he grinned; “Maybe it’s guarding some treasure… or they don’t want people to sneak in.”
CC shakes her head silently, glancing over at Tayuu, "No, there shouldn't be anything here- this Island has been abandoned for ages and there has never been any sort of defence system in place in the many times that I have had to come here to hide out. Treasure looters have been and gone and anything there was to take has been taken and searched for a million times over - nothing left here but metal and rust... supposedly. But looking around as we were coming in I noticed things, though I thought that maybe my imagination was playing me for a fool for a bit. There are some new things all around- a lot of the sunken things that used to be in this area are no longer here - it is like someone cleaned up t he entire place but then redistributed stuff to suit their own needs and wants. More of a barricade than anything else, makes no sense."
She turns back towards the window, looking out at the murky water around them, no longer able to see anything due to the utter darkness of being so deep in the water and having all of the lights off, "I don't know, but what I do know is that this does not feel right. I say we stick to the plan but we are going to have to be more careful. I have no idea what is out there and unless anyone has any suggestions I say we go forth and try not to get caught by whatever is lurking. For all we know, it could be the Hunters- they MAY have caught up to us already, though like I said before, I doubt it"
~~~
Resisting the urge to growl and force the fox to bend to her will, Kitsa silently follows him as he walks from place to place and gathers different orders. From what she had been able to gather by staying within his shadow and peeking in from time to time he was going to be dropped into Robotropolis in order to find the three renegades. This was frustrating to the shadow walker as there were others to pursue and things to continue on with instead of following just a few of her intended targets and yet, with them moving around so much and so continuously she would prefer to get a proper line on them all before moving on. Chances were good that the steadfast fox would bring in the fugitives, though how he was going to do it by himself she had no idea, it was foolhardy at best to go in unassisted and yet she could feel the darkness boiling up in his heart and soul and knew that if it came down to a final conflict between him and his old 'friends' then it could be the turning point for his decent into darkness. It had to be allowed.
But did he truly have to jump from the plane? Travelling in his shadow was easy enough most times, but jumping from a plane did not give the walker much choice... perhaps she would be discoverred by others but it would be too late to warn the fox, if she was lucky. Her mind whirled with different possibilities and eventually she settled for continuing on with the fox, she could easily kill any of the other Hunters who tried to get in her way, they each had their own weakenesses and even with all of their special equipment, none would be able to match the powers she posessed.

The pirate's suspicions that there should have been more guards around was an apt one, her first inclination anyway. The halls were empty, narry a soul be they combatant or page floated through the black marble hallways of Thanatos Tower. All eyes and bodies, whether those eyes had bodies or not were on the many terraces and overlooks dotting the tower's high vantage point. All of them saw the same thing, the wrong eye in the sky.
Some of the newer ones paniced, thinking the red ferral eye hovering over them now was final proof that Syntaru had forged a pact with Thanatos and now the realms would be as one. One that remembered the mortal deathog as he was thought the Transferance of Power had happened in their post-lifetimes. As Thanatos was a reknewable god in terms of personality, just not aspect. But those that still smarted from their battle with the Vanguard Deathog and the Pirate Lass knew the true tale of what had transpired. Their route had been direct, straight up, with no stops or deliberation in their quest. And if that blood thirsty orb in the heavens was any inclination, it would seem that Twilight hit his mark.
Meanwhile, on one of those many terrances, certain nautical naughty girl was drooling over her newest gift fromthe Thanatos Clan. Suddenly the reason why there was an anchor on the orb that transported her made sense. It was an airship.
Over 120 feet long with a great balloon of air wrapped in metal this lighter than air crafted wood ship could soar through the worst weather and through the loftiest mountains with narry a scratch or be worse for wear. It's sleek cedar colored planks immaculate, not a bit of dust marred the surface of the polished wood. Seven skeletal guards stood at attention, expecting orders from who appartently was to be their new captain.
"Ah, good, you found the ship. Hopefully you know how to pilot one of these things because I'm quite rusty and there's about three hundred armed guards on their way going about the long route as the orb shattered on my way through. Shall we lift off?"
Meanwhile; Lucian was enjoying the ride, at least until the tanker ran aground off the shores of Robotropolis and his undead army poured out, their shields working marvelously in the morning light. True, they were more sluggish and the more sentient ones squinted alot. But the zombies could withstand most sunlight anyway and weren't smart enough anymore to recognize pain even if it came in the form of a red hot iron marked "PAIN" and was inserted in places most intimate. Zombies have all the luck.
Standing on the prow of the beached vessle, the undead overlord strapped on a large, rounded, flat object wrapped in canvas to his back and lept down to the sand. Narry a grain scuffed his boots as the granuals rose up to meet him, for the first time in centuries an Elemental was walking the open realm of Mobius, Crucio had come to play.
"You know your roles men, err. .women. . .err. . .things! The towers with the missles first, then anything living, then anything moving that isn't one of us. Go forth, and devour them!"
Like a swarm of locusts the vampiric scourge ran amuck into the opening zones of Robotropolis. Unthinking slaves with lightning quick relexes and deadly claws rent metal like it was nothing. Cameras one by one went dead as the creatures they took in right before ceasing to transmit anymore exploded in a dazzling aray of sparks and shrapnel. The light border patrols were torn to shreds in moments. After all, who was dumb enough to go wandering near a warzone, despite who owned it?
With his odd parcel in tow, Lucian led a small contingent of zombies to a near by watch tower with it's anti-aircraft weaponry useless against the ground bound scourge. He smiled the smile of too many teeth, for at last he was once again in his element. To capture, to conquer, to consume. Thus was the life of war for the bloodsucker, and his blood did boil with joy again.

A fangy grin washed over Myst's face. She was about to get her first taste of combat as a member of the undead. No limitations, no holding back.. no feelings of guilt or remorse. So what if most of the guards here were robotic? This was going to be fun.. Myst had been paired up with a group of Eggman's robotic reinforcements. She used them as fodder while she charged up a few large pikes of solid ice and hurled them through the gun and missile nests.
Moving from tower to tower along the shore she also got the chance to freeze, shred and shatter a few sentries. She was enjoying herself quite a bit, but she knew not to get too carried away. Taking out mostly automated defenses is one thing, but she knew that whoever has taken control of this steel city would send more troops to stave off this undeadite invasion. She thought for a moment about Lucain's answer to her questioning why he was in the employ of Eggman.
She understood the reasoning, it made perfect sense. But something about it seemed odd, even more so odd than a vampire working for a robotic warlord to begin with. She let the thought pass as she smashed a robot guard through a wall, smiling the whole way..
