Myst began to toss and turn in her sleep. In her dream she was now running down a long hallway following the voice of her dead mentor, Shen Wo Fu, the Ice Shaman. The hallway twisted and warped with each step she took, throwing her off balance. She stumbled about, clinging to the walls for support.
"Master Shen? Where are you.. I can't find you" she cried out, hopelessly lost in a single hallway. "Please, Master Shen, show me the way to go.."
At that very instant the hallway became stable and a single door at the end of it creaked open. Myst felt drawn to it, like a moth to the dancing flame. She slowly walked onward through the strange hallway, reaching the door she entered, cautiously. The room was one of a strange decor. It looked fancy, delagated, regal.. definately not the type of room she would expect to find her mentor in, but there he was, sitting in an old chair by a brilliantly crafted fireplace. Such strange things in this room, items Myst could never have even imagined.
"Master Shen.. I've found you at last.. why have you called me?" she asked the oddly glowing Shaman.

A bare black foot sifted through the scorched earth of the Baron Plains Island's deserted grounds with a probing touch. Andre had heeded the call of Syntaru's message and took no time in arriving at the desired location. His eye pierced through his mask to reveal a place that life no longer favored. It was a wasteland, bones of long forgotten creatures littered the landscape and duststorms brewed up in the distance. He felt the cape on his back sway and flutter in the light wind, and he suddenly felt less of a burden upon the world. This place deserved nothing but nothing... it was empty. "This place..." Demockstro mumbled incoherently. He felt so similar to it. The shadow walker trudged on throughout the dust to make his way to the destination of the temple in the area.
The Temple of Chaos. Andre did not pay much attention to the name of this particular one. In fact, Andre did not pay much particular attention to anything anymore. He was wrapped up in his thoughts, digging up long forgotten graves inside of his corporeal mind. This place reminded him of his past, but the memories were too far away for him to grasp. It was a faint trace... a trace of something. But all he could remember was the blood on his hands, and the blood that followed thereafter. Demockstro could not help but feel cold in this place of nothingness.

A bird nevously twitterred, and finding itself safe from harm it burst into hesitant song - leaving off after a few refrains to wait for an attack that would not come. Other birds and creatures began to follow suit, chiming in one or two at a time with their own particular music. Soon, the forest was awash with the normal chittering and bird calls, as if the lemur had never set foot within the area, though a certain uneasiness remained - her dark presence not fully abated. In fact, she was still not far from the area in which she began, but she had gone from the high branches back onto the soft, fern-laden ground. Begin careful to step lightly, as to not leave prints in the soft soil, she searches with a frustrated frown upon her scarred face for the entrance to the temple. Nearby, the demonic spider waits and watches, every once in a while chittering at the lemur. Tala stops in front of a large stump and carefully moves aside some of the large, leafty vines that lay strewn upon it where they grew over the years. She nods, almost imperceptibly, the frustration now gone from her furred face. Beneath her paw, the stump shows itself to be a small stone marker with light markings scratched into its surface. She is sure that they hold some deeper meaning, but for the life of her she can not decipher the language in the quick moments she has to study it. All the lemur knows is that this was what she was looking for, the hidden entrance to the temple. Behind the stump is a large, moss coverred wall which Tala had been searching the length of. Now, with confidence, she takes two small steps to the left and moves her metallic paw forward, touching the leafy covering and brushing it carefully aside. A large hole is revealed, coverred by sticky spider webs mixed with dead leaves, dust and tiny cocoons of now deceased bugs that were some spider's lunch. With a sharp motion of her head, Tala urges the Shadow Creature inside and it skitters quickly through the hole, clearing the path on its way, but she hesitates before stepping inside.
Syntaru had been agitated, she could tell by the urgency in his voice and the feeling that had coursed through her when he spoke, did it mean that perhaps Aurora's minions had been getting closer to the other shards? As an after thought she calls for two more Harbingers, the inky black creatures appearing within a few moments - one taking the place of a fern and the other coming from the shadow of a large tree. She gives them quick instructions to stay hidden and to attack any creature that tries to get through the entrance before she checks over the area, making sure that there is no sign of her being there. Satisfied, Tala enters the dark hole, letting the vines fall back into place behind her.
The two Harbingers go off, one on either side and quickly find suitable places to sit, becoming invisible. If any person were to pass by them, the demonic spiders would not be noticed unless the person was perceptive enough to notice the light, black mist hovering in their respective areas. ____
A wounding of the spirit, CC understood that far too well though she had been lucky enough to not be hurt too badly in her own life, but she had seen the effect that it had on her mother when the family booted her out. The normally cheerful and bright eyed feline had become a dark and wretched soul in the matter of minutes after the final word was spoken and they slammed the door in her face. CC had only been four or five years old but she could remember that her mother would no longer play with her and that she was always quiet, as if living in her own mind. The young cat knew even then that the mind was not a very good place for a normal mobian to dwell for too long and she watched, unable to do anything, as her mother dwindled away to a wraith of a being. It was around that time that her mother had stopped caring for her and kicked her out into the streets.
Shaking her head she moves the thought from her mind and puts her elbows up on the table, leaning her chin in her large black paws, finished her meal and merely waiting for conversation to continue. She did not like to think of that time of her life, it was the main point of sadness, and for the most part, she had moved onto better things. CC knew that she was strong and able to handle anything that came her way, and she smiled at this thought. Finding her eyes drifting back to the hedgehog in front of her she found that he was staring at Paladin, seemingly concentrating but remembering that she had asked the koala his name she turns her attention back to him for the moment.

Shae bolted into action, his task assigned, he was heading to Mercia. He waited not for the Shadow Hole, he merely used his teleportation ability, landing inside the kingdom's walls he grabbed a robe hanging on a shop's back wall. He knew the garment well, it was the same as he wore over a century ago. A bright red robe with a gold trim, the Mercian Runes emblazened upon it. The Kingdom had not changed these past 100 years.
Clad in this garment he could go anywhere in the kingdom without being given so much as a second glance. The Temple of Heroes was sealed in much the same way as Mercia, the only way in for those not born here, was through a tunnel located on the small island in the Emerald Sea. But those born here, could enter freely, and there was a direct link from the Palace to the Temple's inner chamber. And that's how Shae planned to enter.. straight and to the point.
As he walked through the marketplace, a swirl of memories came back to him. He passed the old blacksmith's, no doubt the descendants of ol' Thomas were carrying on his business. He then passed the Fruit stand of Alyssa.. his former love.. the sudden rush of memories focused on this. Alyssa Torin, her father was among the High Council of Druids.
He and Alyssa had been in love since they were old enough to understand the word.. and on the day of his disgrace, she was the only one who didn't believe the council. He wandered, eyes glazed, searching in the past. His body guided him where he needed to go, but his mind stayed lost. He remembered that fond night, that he and Alyssa shared an act forbidden to those of their age.
They had snuck from the kingdom one night and head out to the island. There, under the stars, they shared a lovers embrace. Upon recalling this, Shae fell to the ground, dropping to his knees, a sharp pain pounding in his head. Residents of the kingdom came rushing over to him.
"High Druid, are you alright?" said one voice.
"Shall I fetch the Healer?" said another.
"AWAY WITH YE!.. I.. I am fine.. it was a momentary collapse.. forgive my anger loyal subjects, I have been under a great deal of emotional toil." said Shae, returning to his feet and stride.
The residents gawked at him, they did not know it, but legend had just returned home. Meanwhile, from within the Void, Syntaru continued to manipulate the hedgehog from her dreams.
"Myst, my young pupil, I have come to you, from this place, to warn you of the great evil you have uncovered.. the Gem stone.. you must get rid of it.. take it to the place of my burial and cast it into the cold snow, to be lost forever." said Syntaru in the voice of Shen.

Spade looked down the table to the slender feline and smiled. He sipped at his fruit juice once more, placing the glass on the table. He cleared his throat for a moment before speaking.
"My name is Spade, erm Ci Ci was it? I come from the Downunda Continent."
Amon, the while, was turning now away from Paladin and back to his conversation. Which was now directed between Spade and Ci Ci. Amon munched on some of his salad, intently listening in. He waited for a moment and chimed in himself.
"You're a member of the Hunakwa Kardas tribe aren't you?"
Spade quirked an eyebrow and answered the hedgehog forthwit.
"Yes, actually, I am.. that's amazing how did you know that?"
Amon laughed and smirked, then responded in turn.
"I am on who has what your people call 'The Vision', I am a Templar, a Psionic.. my name is Amon."
Spade nearly dropped his glass, he heard the stories of those with the vision, but never imagined he'd meet someone who had it.
"It is clear then why Mother has chosen you as one of her warriors.. I hope that I am able to keep on par with one of your stature."

"Well, things had certainly gone to hell for Pagatim Sceleratus. For two hours nothing happened, not a shadow stirred not a creature moved, and nothing went bump in the night. Slowly the adrenaline running it's course the once staunch guards began to get weary. They were day working people, all this stress late at night was taking it's toll. As the minutes drug by and the torches burned lower the sound of a twig being broken outside the protective ring of light.
All eyes and many sharp pointed objects were suddenly turned to strike in that direction. Every soul drawing breath held it until a moment slipped by. A steady thudding could be heard coming, the men formed a barrier between the sound and the women were between the men and the children. The old stone well made an excellent backdrop to hold their own against they must've thought. After all, the well was partitioned off on two sides by stone and the well was several hundred feet deep.
It wasn't until Peggy Sue, the one closest to the well heard my voice did they realize that what was before them was merely a precursor to the grand finale of the nightmare. Again, the simple tones of my incantation 'Dimissio Imbrium' started her in a silent stock stare as tears streamed down her face. The other children huddled near her, thinking that what ever was crawling it's way toward the adults is what was setting her off. Again, the lack of attention they were showing what they were trying to protect proved to be a brutally fatal mistake.
The ruse was complete when the shambling form of Robbie the Chipmunk entered the flickering torch light and the reaction was mixed. Those furthest away thinking the lad dead cheered in surprise that the young one would be up and about. How ever those closest to the still lurching lad knew a different tale. The red tint to his once muddy brown eyes burned with madness and bloodlust. And it was too little too late when the Mother threw her arms around her child thinking him alive did she feel his flesh to be stone cold.
A moment later, when he tore out her jugular vein with his still sharp juevenile teeth did all of the remaining villagers realize that it wasn't Robbie coming back but something entirely different and far more sinister than what they had hoped was shuddering towards them. As quick as his dying mother fell to the ground, her shrieks of surprise and pain transitioning into a gurgling choke, the blood filling her mouth and lungs faster than she could cough it up did the more gutsy farmers dissend upon the undead boy.
Scythes, shovels, and common cutlery dug into flesh but the ghoul didn't notice, didn't care. With animal savagry Robbie tore the arm off one aggressor and whipped it about like some macabre mace, beating what turned out to be the unarmed man's wife.
Get it! Unarmed! I kill myself sometimes!
But numbers win out in the end and while half of the male defenders are dead or dying Robbie's head eventually parts ways with his shoulders and he falls to the dirt not to rise again. Thinking the nightmare over, the women fall to their knees and begin weeping. Holding their children's eyes shut while they let their tears fall to the no longer dry ground. Only Peggy Sue's shriek told the others that things were about to get worse.
The spell finally turning the rest of the water, a torrent of blood swept up the remaining men, women, and children. The sole survivor of this attack being the girl that had warned them all that their death had finally arrived. Like a living blob of coagulating blood, the sphere of crimson extinguished the torches, removed the weapons dropped by hands clawing at their throats seeking air instead of choking liquid. Mother's abandoned their offspring in a self serving panic and the children died first. Their shock and surprise causing them to suck in the finality await all those ensared in my oh so clever trap.
When the last struggling villager thrashed about once more the spell broke, the resulting deluge of blood coating everything save myself high atop the well's steepled roof. Alone, twitching, and beyond fear or panic Peggy Sue hugged her knees, soaked to the skin with the tainted well water's evil saturating her very soul.
After a moment of pride, reflecting on my good work, I lept down and the little chipmunk's eyes locked on to my own. She didn't even run, not that I thoght she could. And I laughed, a howl really, a flawless victory and finally my hunger sated!"
"I only asked you where you got that brown wide brim hat from." Apophis commented.
Giving the hat a tip with his finger, running an undead digit along it's smooth furry rim the vampire smiled a smile that gave the dragon pause for thought. "What kind of monster would I be to leave an orphaned girl in a tainted deserted village? Bah Hah HAH HAH HAH HAH!
The vampire's mocking laughter unroosted birds sleeping in the nearby tree boughs. His jubilant call cut off by the sound of a door closing, the sun rising on Pagatim Sceleratus, but narry a soul did move.

Thunder couldn't help feel a spiritual moment of sorrow for Shae at that moment. He, too, was betrayed such a way during his journey. A jack-of-all-trades wombat named Syft journeyed with Thunder for a while before being betrayed for a bounty on his head. He was wanted for interfering in a raid somewhere in the Downunda Continent. Tortured, beaten, and strained to near-death, it took all of his will to finally unleash the storming beast within, leveling his captors and their headquarters.
"Well," Thunder began boldly. "A connection like that shouldn't be wasted on the likes of him, so I'll have to take it up for him."
Thunder thought that they'd think he'd be probably joking, which was okay for he expected this. The truth was, he was serious about becoming close friends with the goddess, and seeing as how Shae wasn't going to take up the post anytime soon...
"Back to these trials," Thunder asked, interested in what Paladin meant. "They wouldn't have anything to do with preparing for what Syntaru's going to throw at us, would it?"
Ever since Thunder first learned about the deities, his interest has had no bounds. As such, part of his training concentrated on damage strong enough to counter, paralyze, and/or destroy and a demon. Despite his attempts, however, nothing seemed to bring him closer to attaining these goals. There was always something missing towards the incantations. Nevertheless, he continues studying to this day. Since he was virutally a living battery, he saw no reason why he didn't have the energy to produce such spells.

CC smiled and nodded her head, "Yes, I am CC... nice to meet you Spade. I come from the Casino Zone, but I tend to be a bit of a wanderer." Her smile widens as Amon joins in the conversation and she rolls her eyes at his little joke. The feline understands Spade's reaction, it was not every day that you came across someone who could read minds... sure there were charlatans who pretended that they could in order to get whatever money they could from the none too bright few who believed their lies. She listens carefully to the small conversation between the two and a passing feeling of uncomfortableness goes through her mind, so many of these fighters were devoted to the Goddess and the cat was so new to it all. She wonderred if she was the only one who had not known fully about her abilities or that there was more to the world than just plain old survival. Absentmindedly she moves some of the left over food around with a single claw, but eventually chimes in, "while I certainly do not doubt that Amon is one of many talents... especially if he is anything like I think he is I must say that you should not be so, gah, what's the word?"
She thinks for a moment, her tail swishing in slight frustration and then she shakes her head, "Well, what I mean to say is that while I am sure you know that you are stronga nd able you should not be afraid of admitting it to those around you. I do not think that the Goddess would have had you join in this battle if it were not for something that you posessed within you, even if it was merely a spirit that would encourage others around you. You seem to be quiet knowledgeable anyways, whereas, heck, I pretty much know nothing in comparison. Yesterday my only thought was getting through the next fight and not getting beat up too badly afterwards because I refused to fall... that and where I would get my next meal from. Today, there is another whole world of possibilities and quite frankly, if you have any information that you would be able to share i would be a more than avid listener."
Underneath the table, CC nudges Amon's foot with her own boot, not being able to resist the urge to flirt with him lightly but in the meantime her attention is still focussed upon the koala, Spade -her eyes glitter with amused playfulness and she tries her best to supress a grin.
___
The cave-type entrance was dark and damp - the fresh smell of the earth permeating through the entire area and the sound of bugs skittering every once in a while made the lemur stop in her tracks to listen. She would continue on when she was sure that all was clear, stepping lightly and carefully through the dirt and moss - a small part of her took notice that she was able to see a lot more clearly than she normally would in such overwhelming darkness and inwardly she thanked Syntaru for gracing her with such a gift. The going was slow and once or twice she had only barely managed to not spring a trap that would have ended up leaving her pierced through with spikes or poisoned by deadly darts. She had learnt her lessons well though and was able to recognize small signs that were the precursors to the traps. Eventually she came to a large cavernous hall with a large waterfall splashing down into a deep lake of water. In the middle of this lake was a small green island filled with ferns and other small plants. A single shaft of sunlight front a hole up above shone down, providing a modicum of light to the area. The shard called to her, she could feel its energy seeping through from the Island, as if calling to her very soul. So overwhelmed was she by the immense feeling, and knowledge that Syntaru was ever closer to becoming hole she did not notice the small runes scratched upon the surface of a dusty rock.
Her step was light but not light enough and when she stepped down she heard a very audible click, lifting up her foot quickly she realized that it was too late and her golden yellow eyes searched the area quickly for whatever it was that she would have to dodge. Around her she formed the dark shield of shadow energy, but it seemed to take forever for the trap to spring. A rumbling was heard and a large grinding of stone against stone, yet the lake remained untouched. Aroung the lemur stones began to break away and fall into the very earth and the slab that she was standing upon began to shake menacingly. With a single leap she jumps from the slab just before it gives way and falls into the earth. Around her the path is now a mix of slabs with large spaces in between, she keeps the shield up and fights the urge to look over the edge. Her ears pick up a hissing sound and she steps backward just before a large gout of flame comes from one of the spaces near her. She spots the Shadow Harbinger on its own little slab and she sights, realizing that it will not get horribly far as some of the spaces were too large for it to jump across, though she does notice that there is a small path that it can take to get towards one of the more stable edges by the entrance to the room. She bids it go that direction and to stop when it hears the vague hissing and it skitters off in its given direction.
"It had to be fire..."

Although everyone around him was talking, Luminous was silent, lost in his own thoughts as his face wore one of the most serious looks of all. Every thought continued to turn towards his time in the chamber....he had gained sight, but did he turly see? Why did he have this power, why was he given this responsibility, the charter of the Avatar? Too many questions surrounded him as he tooled around with his food, no longer hungry, but frustrated.
Standing up, he excused himself and walked outside. Maybe some fresh air could calm him some. Upon stepping outside, he could understand what Amon meant about the beauty of the Chaos Realm. So many lights, blending and bending together flawlessly, like a never ending aurora. It calmed his soul and spirit watching the beauty unfold before him. Even if he cannot see the true beauty it holds, the lights held within it were calming enough....

Stealth stood in the shadows of the tiger statue. His turkey leg now a simple bone wich he threw over his left shoulder with an iritated sigh. He glared out at the others with a frown. If what the goddess said was true, then why were these people acting like it was social hour. hell even as they chatted so gayily, the boogey man syntaru could be gaining ground. He snorted and shook his head. "your just jeualuse because you cant make freinds like that so easily. wait do you even have freinds stealth? Came a small voice in his heart. His soul remaind silent but the mind spoke back."Freinds? Its my part in life to be alone, freinds just get in the way..they just get hurt. Just like my parents...just like our childhood freinds....just like our... its just our lot in life to be by ourself.
Stealth just grunted at this inward conversation and sighed closing his eyes for a second wishing the world away. "Damn when is that goddess going to get here. Im getting tired of just sitting on this stone cat doing nothing."
Meanwhile the shadow doorway opened up on Azure Island and a dark wolf dressed in gleeming crimson and black power armor stepped out of the inky doorway. He glanced back at the doorway and frowned as it closed behind him."Hmph....I always depsised magic...why lord syntaru wouldnt let me take a transport here with a good force of hydras or other units...I do not know. I am at a disadvantage since I canot control or order his shadow minions like the wench. Gods sometimes I despise magic. technology is so more reliable in myu opinion. " he muttered as he fliped open the wrist comp built into his cybernetic arm. He nodded as one half of the sreen displayed a map of azure island. The other half displayed sensor readings. The temple like the others was pulsign with a strong energy....the soul stone. The wolf shook his head and chuckled and looked around. The clear blue sky, the crystal clear waters. yes he knew why this island got its name. He couldnt help but smirk at the irony as he headed inward twords the temple. Something that contained such darkness was to be located somewheere so.......cheerfull.

It took Kurenai several minutes for her to really comprehend just what was going on. When reality did make itself known, the dhole shook herself out of her thoughts about her day in the Chamber of Time. Kuri walked quickly away from it, wrapping her jacket, no longer tattered and missing as it had been in the Chamber, tighter around herself. Ever since she exited the Chamber, the dhole felt different, almost as if more time had passed then that ‘year’ and she had grown more than she would ever do so in the ‘real world,’ and this continuous fear of war breaking out between the Goddess and her brother had instantly added and stressed the reason why she needed to train and become stronger. Absentmindedly, she touched her throwing dart, wrapped around her neck as if it were a necklace, continuing through the maze of hallways she had tried to memorize earlier.
Kuri, finally, walked into the dining hall, seeing everyone talking and laughing with each other lifted her spirits. She sat down, distancing herself from the others, but still remained close enough to hear them if she took the time to really listen to their conversations. A plate was soon filled with eggs, bread, cheese and fruits- mostly apples, plums, and berries, the dhole’s stomach lightly grumbling as to inform her that the choice of food would be good enough for now.
As she ate, Kuri took the time to rally look at her comrades: Syth (or Paladin Twilight, as he reintroduced himself as) seemed fine; CC and Psychosis was sitting next to each other, talking animatedly to the koala the dhole believed was retrieved by Luminous and Syth earlier. The blind echidna was no where to be found when she had walked in, and neither was Stealth. Looking around the surrounding room, she could spot the fox leaning against one of the Goddess’ statues, a tiger one, if she wasn’t mistaken. Taking the rest of her food with her, the dhole walked towards him and sat down on the ground towards the side opposite to the one swing the wicked blade he now wielded.
“Nice sword,” she said, making conversation, “you received it in the Chamber, too?”

Myst stepped back from her mentor, her eyes widened in fear. She'd dicovered something evil in that shrine created by the Lady of Light.. maybe that Gem was there for a reason.. to keep it from falling into the wrong hands. She felt so stupid, letting her curiosity get the better of her like that. She looked up at her mentor, staring straight into his withered face.
"I will do as you have ask, Master Shen, I will cast the stone into the deep snow where it will be lost.." she said, jerking awake from the dream. She put her hand to her head and waited for it to stop spinning.
When it did, she got up on her feet and slipped her pants and shoes back on. Sliding open the door of her humble habitat, it was clear as ice outside. The storm had subsided, Master Shen's grave was back in the old Polaris Bearis village. She felt a strange chill.. something about her dream wasn't right.. but she did know that this Gemstone was evil, she could feel it now. She stepped out into the snow and began walking, the trip wouldn't take long, the small village was only 10 or fifteen minutes away, she visited the locals there often.
They were a simple people, fishermen, hunters, and traders. Living in the most humble of ways with very few enemies. This is why she chose the outskirts of the village to bury her mentor after his murder. As she walked, she couldn't help but feel like she was being watched.. like a dark presence was following her. She shrugged it off and continued on, the only things crossing the snow were her and her shadow in the moonlight. It wasn't long before she reached the village, and then the burial site to the west.
She knelt in the snow next to her mentors meager headstone, using her abilities to carefully move away the topsnow, then the lower layers until hitting soil. She extened her hand out over the grave, and as she did, an eerie black clawed hand reached up.. from her shadow! It snatched the glowing red gem from her hand and pulled it down through the black cast image of herself.
"No! NO!! You tricked me! You weren't my Master Shen at all were you?! How could I have been so stupid?.. How.." she said, pounding her fists into the cold snow, letting out a loud ferral cry, a swirling wall of ice blowing around her in the rage and sadness. The Dark Shadow had tricked her, it sought the Gem for itself, and she handed it right to him, because he used her pain against her. Then and there, she swore, that she would be present on the day this great evil was destroyed.. and she knew how to get there too.
The old scriptures tell of a place, boiling hot like the fires of the Pit, covered in ash and primorteal rock. The Eye of the Great Demon.. an island far to the East. She stood to her feet and made her way back to her shelter.. she would take everything she coudl carry and set out for this place of legend, no matter what the cost.

The warriors had no time to finish conversations that were halfway in.. or meals halfway done.. any who had left the room were pulled back in a swell of light. They were all seated at the table as Aries, Ishillar, Augustus, Rayne and the Goddess herself materialised infront of the hall doors. The Vanguards stood on either side of her, with the exception of Twilight, who was seated with the warriors.
"Warriors of Mobius, the demon has made a stride of aggression, it is either out of fear or boasting, but whatever the reasoning he has sent his Apostles to claim 5 of his SoulGem shards.. The Apostles are alone in each of these locations.. and you will all be sent to stop them from achieving their goal.." said the Goddess. "You will be divided up and sent to these locations.. Stealth and Luminous, the two of you will intercept the Lemur, Tala, in the Mobian Jungle.. be weary, she has grown in Shadow Power since the last encounter and can now forge Shadow Creatures much like Syntaru.. which is why you with the power of light will head her off."
The Goddess then turned to the opposite end of the table.
"The second location is the Downunda Continent, which is why Kuri and Spade, the two of you will make the effort there.. the Apostle there.. is the lost one, Shade.. the two of you will have the advantage in the surrounding landscape.. thirdly, he has called in the debt with the Shadow Walker, Andre, in the Baron Plains. said the Goddess, pausing to look over at the end of the table. "Psy- I mean Amon and Ci Ci the two of you will handle this.. though the Walker does this to be absolved from the demon's grip and seek redemption.. he cannot be allowed to hand over the Gem.. Paladin, you will take point to stop Shae.. head to Mercia an-"
The Goddess was interrupted by Aries.
"My Lady, please, let me accompany Paladin to Mercia.. I know the lands and I know the laws of it.. as well there is no one aside from you yourself that knows Shae's tactics better.. please my Lady, I beg of you." said Aries.
"Very well, you and Paladin will head to Mercia, to stop Shae in his blinded efforts.. this leaves you, Thunder.. unfortuneately you must traverse this mission alone.. I can spare no other Vanguards to assist you.. you will be sent to Azure Island to stop the warlord Legion from gaining the Gem.. he is ruthless and vicious.. I wish you all the best of luck.. and Kuri, before I send you off, you may grab a few pieces of food to take with you, sorry to have interrupted your chance at a meal.." said the Goddess. Kuri nodded back at her and did so, grabbing some food, once finished, she sat back down. "Is everyone prepared? Rifts of light, streams of time.. open wide the doors to the sacred sites.. send my valliant heroes to their tasks.. and with my eyes watch over them.."
The Goddess clapped her hands hard and in a flash, all those who were charged with a duty, were delivered to their appointed locations.. left to battle the forces of true evil.
(OoC: Okay, here's the skinny - Kuri and Spade will appear in Spade's village, it's a little ways East of the temple, so you'll be heading West. Stealth and Luminous will appear just outside the Temple's above ground entrance, Tala has entered through a back passage and is already inside. Amon and Ci Ci will appear only a few yards infront of Andre, so, that battle will ensue almost immediately..
Paladin and Aries will also appear just infrotn of their appointed Temple, Shae of course will transport inside via the link in the Kingdom, so essentially they think he'll head in from the front and stand watch until he shows up. That temple is on the shore of the Emerald Sea. And Thunder, well, you'll appear where Legion did, he'll have already gone ahead and you'll have to catch up.. Good Luck Guys!)
