Even though things had moved so quickly, the cat found herself wary but at relative ease. She was used to living on her toes and being ready for the strangest things to happen, though this had to be one of the strangest yet. In fact, it was taking more energy than usual to come face to face with the current circumstances, but still, deep inside something called out to her as she looked around the assembled group. Some of those in the area felt so familiar to her, so much so that she had to shake her head to clear the thoughts from her brain and concentrate on the current situation.
The door had been opened and from what she could come up with she realized that she would have to go in alone to do some training. Training she could handle, but if it had to do with the powers like the ones shown just in the past few minutes she was not sure how she, a lowly fighter, was going to be able to deal. Glancing at the hedgehog beside her she noticed the clenched fists and the uneasy face and her heart went out to him, he was suffering so much, it was obvious that he had much love for the Goddess. Tenderly, CC reached out a paw and touched his shoulder, squeezing gently and looking into his eyes, smiling cheerfully, "Chin up luv, it will all work out the way it needs to and all we can do in this moment is train as hard as we can to be able to get ourselves out of this mess and help out the Goddess to the best of our abilities!"
She winks at him and then she is gone through the door that she is led to, her own personal room where time itself is but a suggestion. She turns around just for a moment and looks at the motley group of adventures, beaming her best smile at them all, "come on, Syntaru is not going to wait!" and with that she walks through bravely, without a single bit of fear and disappears into her own chamber.

(( Gee, Shae, for some odd reason this seem so... DBZ...ish. XP ))
Valke had just come back to reality as Gulo left the scene. He was staring at a very large, on the verge of death creature. One could tell Andre was still alive because of the slow heaving breaths he struggled to let loose. It seemed though he was immortal, mortal habits and need slowly came back to him. What should he do about this monstrosity that had done nothing to him?
His loyalties lied with the Eggman, but his morality spoke otherwise. Valke knew that the Eggman probably would not have thought twice, but he was one soldier in the army that actually had moral at all. The youth sighed and walked over to the struggling Demockstro, unsheathing the sword he rarely used. He was not sure if he could pierce whatever this thing was made out of seeing as it was supernatural. Dantes began to raise his blade up high to deliver the final blow, except that Andre quickly reached out a clawed hand and dug at the scorched earth in front of him.
This creature still had life left in him if he could do that. Valke's hand was trembling, and he knew full well he was no match for a monster of this proportion, as beaten as it was. Demockstro himself had not lost yet, and he did not plan on it. A will of steel that was partly not his own dragged him forward, literally. The shadow walker ignored the young man above him and clawed at the ground, dragging his wretching body slowly forward to the Emerald Sea that was only a few feet from him. His body suffered convulsions and he constantly vomited black slime from his mouth, but he slowly dragged his way to those hopeful shores.
Demockstro dipped a single clawed finger into the green waters, and did the most unlikely thing that a creature of his stature could, if it was at all possible. He started to pray. "Goddess Almighty, Who resides in the Chaos Realm, hear my plea. In order to save my own life in an act of selfishness, and in order to escape from the chains from which your brother has bound me in, I ask you to let me enter the brilliance of your domain. What I offer is my complete alliegance, and my vow that in time I will pay my debt of the evil that I have commited in my past life. Please hear me, I have not much time..." And thus, the unspeakable had happened.

Stealth grunted and regarded the vangaurd and the chamber ahead of him suspiciously. HE glanced from aireis to the chamber and back. Still he balled his fists and took a step forward. "If this is what it takes to rip that bat a new one, then its show time....stil lbelive your a bunch a bull of undesecoved potential, nothing special about me."he grumbled. Then with a shake of the head he glanced back at the others and then steped forward into the chamber.
The door closed behind him and sealed before tyhe fox could run back twords the entrance to the chamber. Soon as he touched the wall though their was a flash of white.
"Honey...wake up...the movies over."Said a soft gentle voice. Stealth slowly opend his eyes and to his amazemnt. looked right up to the smiling face of a buetiful white kistusne. Who leaned down and kissed his forehead. The fox blinked in surprised and opend his mouth but nothing came out but a small coraking sound.
"Samantha..if we dont hurry to the parking lot were gonna be stuck in traffic for ours."Came the voice of a strong looking grey fox with brown hair and vibrant green eyes. The site of them shook stealth out of his stunned state."Mom....dad..."he coraked out and then blinked in suprise. His voice was higher, like that of a younge child, no more than four or five.
"he must have had a nightmare."The white kitsune said picking her son up."Lets take the back entrance out..it will be faster.
It was then that stealth let out a small wimper. The chamber borught him to his parents allright....the night they died at the hands of paranormals.
Menawhile Legion was pondering reports oif the beast and as well checking the status of his various bases. All of his bases from ICe cap..to the mobian jungle and even the ones in Downunder and casino polis were reporting everything clear, but still the dark wolf told them to reamin on high alert and to keep their paritacl sheld defenses on level 6. meanwhile Raiding parties had reported in that they had set up a base camp near another eggman supply base. The dark wolf sighed and shook his head. He glanced up at his pilot. "Its time I activated the centurion project. Head to Ice cap."he ordered the pilot, for few knew that a centurion proccessing plant was hidden under the guise of a hydra fuel cell facotry. The slaves there were infact bodies for the centurion process. The arival of apothosis made it clear to the wolf it was time to bring a few projects to light.

Psychosis was uneasy, but the calm and sweet manner of CC had changed his tone.. he smiled as she entered the chamber. He followed afterward, being led to his training room. Upon stepping through its doorway, Psychosis found himself back in his forgotten childhood..
"Amon? Aaaaamon? Come on dear, wake up.. you will be late for the Village teachings.."
Amon's eyes hesitantly opened wider, he stretched his arms out and yawned.
"I ~yawn~ I am sorry Mother.. I was having such wonderful dreams I did not want to wake up.."
His Mother smiled, in that heart-warming way that only a Mother can. Amon sat up in bed, throwing off the meager sheets and slipping on his ragged pants and shirt. This was the dress of all the people in this tiny village.. it was a poor place. Psy was slowly beginning to remember.. what life was like before his entrapment.
Spade, back in the Chaos Realm, was weary to enter the Chamber at first, but he did so. Strong and proud to serve Mother. When he entered his room.. it was black.. nothingness.. empty.. then a spark and an explosion of light.. in the light he saw the figure of Mother, Aurora being forged.
He had been taken to the beginning.. to the moment the battle began. Where all realities, all dimensions and universes came to be.. and just as he was gazing upon the beauty of Aurora.. a swirling cloud of dark purple came from the emptyness.. Syntaru had come to forge..
He floated there, in the empty space.. watching Aurora and Syntaru battle, he studied them. More keanly he studied the demon.. leanring its style, its technique, its treachery. he despised the demon even more now. But he saw Motehr prevail, and seal the beast away in the Void. As quickly as he had witness the millenia long battle, he was taken away again.. to another point in history..

(OOC @ Tonix: Hey, there have been DBZ rip-offs/similarities in A.o.M. since the Tournament.. XP )
"Father, it's Gulo, I have attained my revenge.. I am returning to base for repairs.." said Gulo
His arm was badly damaged, but could be fixed in short time back in Robotropolis.
"Ah, Gulo, yes alright, be sure to use your IDC when you approach the shield, the shield will recognize the code and phase shift to allow your shuttle and only your shuttle in or out of the base." said Eggman "Once you've had repairs completed, I want you to take some HiBombers and reinforce Lucian and Apophis in the Ice Cap Zone.."
"Understood, Gulo out." said the wolverine.
Elsewhere, in the caves of Mt. Kahkari;
"Ahh Shae, only under my reign for a few hours, and already you've crippled the Goddess and stunted her forces.. I am most impressed.. with you finally at my side.. I can regain my FULL power in no time.. but for now.. I have some other business to attend to.. that Doctor is proving to be more of a bother than I once thought.." said the Demon
"My Lord, why not send me to finish Eggman off? Legion, a brilliant military mind as he may be, lack the direct focus and power to whipe the Doctor out.. at Legion's rate, you will have been fully resurrected for a decade before Eggman is defeated.." said Shae, boastingly.
"You question my methods?" scoffed the demon
"N-n-" Shae was cutt off.. he'd been pinned to the cave wall by the demon's tail.
"Though be you the strongest in my armies.. your insolence and arrogance do not serve my needs.. I suggest you learn your place.. chiroptera.." said Syntaru.
"Y-yes my Lord.." whinced Shae.

The door had sealed behind her, cutting her off completely from any chance of escape and for a moment the cat felt something akin to a deep sense of fear but with a few calming breaths she was able to clear her mind. Before her, a large forest loomed with birds chirping in the distance and the sunlight breaking through the roof of trees. A sweet smell surrounded her, it was the natural smell of the woods and she took another deep breath, catching the whiff of some strange smell. It was vaguely familiar and it was coming closer, warily she crouches low into the nearby brush and waits for the incoming cloaked figure, pouncing on him just as he coems into range. He falls to the ground but not before whipping out a large scythe and stopping the blade just inches from her nose. "You silly feline, you are lucky that I recognized it was you"
"Awww Syth, I know that you would never hurt little 'ol me..." CC grinned, rolling playfully to the side and batting at the edges of the hedgehog's green cloak.
"You are just lucky, my little huntress, that is all..." He smiles and leans into her to kiss, his breath warming her fur and making her heart flutter - in the back of the cat's mind a tiny voice tells her that this is not right... this situation is not the current one... this life... is not the same. He leans ever closer and she closes her eyes, such a strong connection... but...
The image fades and CC is left laying with her eyes closed and her mind and heart confused.

Back at the mountain, Tala stretches in her crypt, having been allowed some extra meditation time to recoup and recover from her slight bruises and hits that she had taken on her last little excursion. Her Lord was pleased with her work and he had grown ever stronger, which in turn pleased the lemur. Soon, he would be fully recoverred and his greatness would envelop the world.
She was a true believer and had total faith in Syntaru, she would do anything for him - even if it meant sacrificing parts of herself. No cost was too great and with that thought she decided that she had been lazy long enough - there was no time for rest, not at moments like these. Walking at a steady pace she head in the direction of the throne room, hopefully to receive her next orders.

Syth had waited long enough, evidently he was the only one that thought leaving the world to Syntaru's clutchest for even the small time of 24 hours was a bad mistake. But as he was in no position to argue nor from a level of authority to command he took his place into the Chamber.
Etheral mists swirled and cohaleced around the deathog, it had to work hard to preserve his essence in time, not being your typical training mortal or long since perished soul. The deep ancient magics pulled at the Reaper and finally after a final burst of power, the world went dark for Syth. Then he fell, as if the floor wasn't there or never really existed, plumeting down through time as well as space. Whether things finally righted themselves or he stopped falling he never knew, all he was aware of was seeing the large boney hand of Thanatos holding him.
Syth looked around, it was raining, and he was outside some where. He bore no scythe, no cloak, no gloves of office. Just a simple animal skin hide to clothe his form, he was smaller, nothing more than an infant, not more than a Mobian Turn or two old. The God of Death gingerly held the tot, the rain did not touch the diety, and something akin to compassion might have gleamed in the ghostly green flames in the humaniod skull.
"THEY WOULD SACRAFICE A CHILD, IN INNOCENCE, TO WARD ME AWAY? PRIMATIVE CREATURES, ANCIENT MOBIUS HAS A LONG WAY TO GO IT SEEMS LITTLE ONE. BUT YOU ARE A CAST OFF, YOU ARE UNWELCOME IN THE LAND OF MORTALS. I SHALL OFFER YOU A PLACE IN MY REALM, YOU SHALL BE MY SON AND MY VOICE IN THE WORLD OF THE LIVING.
I CRISTEN THEE SYTH, FOR MY BLADE OF OFFICE AND THANATOS FOR THE FAMILY NAME YOU ARE NOW A MEMBER OF. BREATHE YOUR LAST BREATH LITTLE DEATHOG, FOR YOUR TIME FOR LIVING IS DONE. . ."
The booming voice faded out and Syth remembered. He remembered primative mobius, no magic or science ruled then. Long since extinct beasts roamed the country side and he was the village chief's son.
There had been a famine, and a plague, the deathog clan was in the decline. The Vulpine, Kitsune, and Hedgehog Clans had taken dominance in the land. All this misfortune was syncronous with Syth having been born, the first dark furred member of his race. An odd birth defect leading to his doom. In a final futile effort, the Death Worshiping Tribe offered it's royal son to the God of All Endings. Only to be wasted, what a pity. . .
Wrapped in the folds of his 'Father's' cloak Syth slipped from the world of the living, unannounced and uncared for. . . .
Meanwhile; Lucian was making good time on the Dragon's back. It certainly flew faster than he did and really, traveling that far would have taken alot out of the vampire. Finally, a mission where his unique talents could be put to good use. Granted, he was required to bring some of them back in the Dragon's belly, but all the same. There was no way of keeping count how many fell on dragon's claws or vampire fangs in the heat of battle now was there.
A tinge in the back of the vampires mind bugged him though. Something about a base so far out and isolated set off subtle alarms in Lucian's head. Why put a base so far out removed from everything? Why in such a harsh environment? Is it to keep things out, or more likely keep things in? That was how it worked with the Shifting Sands Zone and Lucian's domain. Even if a prisoner escaped they'd never make it to the edge of the blistering area before falling prey to the environments natural traps.
Nor could the freshly turned and rebelous undead escape the suns rays in time to find shelter with out training and of cours swearing aligence to Lucian himself first. The whole situation seemed, off, and it stunk of a trap. But he had his mission, one hell of a weapon, and the knowledge that a varrietable buffet of fresh eats waiting for him on that floating iceburg that made up the Ice Cap Zone.
Far off into the distance the blue peaks that mark the inhospitiable zone for what it is came into view. It was hard to tell which shone brighter. The mechanical lizard's scales or the vampire's eyes.

OOC- Geez, you guys are going through chapters like harpoons through fish. I wish I had your inspiration...
IC-
Thunder was shocked when he saw Shae attack the very goddess he was formerly working for, but what ticked him off the most was that he was truly in service of the same deity that they were fighting against. However, it all happened so fast before Thunder could do anything about.
The mere stun of it all left him in mixed feelings. Who could he really trust? How did he know that everyone around him except dear Goddess Aurora herself didn't work for Syntaru? Despite these thoughts, his focus snapped together when he saw Aurora's allies help to gather her to her feet and take her to her recovery pool, alone.
Thunder followed Aries, and before entering his training chamber, he asked the vanguard a question.
"Hey" said Thunder "How close is Syntaru to being revived?"

The cat continued to lay upon the ground, but no longer was it the soft earth beneath her fur, no, it had transformed almost imperceptibly into the rough mat of a boxing ring. She recognized the smell of it at first and then the sounds of a cheering and hissing crowd assaulted her ears, but that was not near as poignant as the soft voice that brought her fully to her senses, "C'mon kid, get up!"
She attempted to open her eyes, managing one as the other was swollen too much to see out of. A tear rolled out of her one good eye as she looked at the expectant face of a short, stocky badger. He urged her with his eyes to stand
2... 3...
She put a paw out and pushed herself to her knees, her head spinning, but she remained focussed on the kind face that pushed her to test her furthest limits. Something boiled within her and she got unsteadily to her feet. The lights shone brightly and she knew that she had to focus on her opponent now, she nodded dreamily to the ref when he questioned if she was okay... she was not, but she would keep fighting regardless because the badger wanter her to. Her opponent came at her like a steam engine but something within her screamed out and she ducked to the left side, letting her right paw lift up in a strong uppercut that connected square with the jaw of the large creature in front of her. He fell, she could feel the jolt of his hitting the mat almost shake her to her knees but somehow she kept standing, she did not even know how she managed it, but she did. "You did it kid, you won!" The badger beamed up at her and the scene changed
I remember this...
She had just finished that fight and after receiving her prize money had gone to find the badger... walking out into the alley only to find him up against the wall with two thugs holding him and another two taking turns punching him. "This is gunna teach ya old man... we told you to have her fall in the fourth and yeh didn't listen now did you?" They hit him but he did not pay attention, instead he looked straight at the young feline, urging her to stay back and not say a word. She knew.
I was only seven...
They had left him in a bloody heap and she had run out after they left, helping him to his feet and taking him to the hospital, "I'm sorry Daddy Dante... I will go down next time and stay down... they won't hurt you ever again..."
"Don't you dare kid! Don't you EVER go down and never let them take advantage of you that way! You are a good fighter and an honest one, and Goddess knows that the world needs more of those" He coughed and the scene changed again, she was back to the alley from before.
No... not this... please
It was dark and there was no sign of the loving badger that had adopted the young feline. She scanned the area, her bright green eyes stopping upon a hunched form against the wall. "Daddy Dante..." She leaped off of the steps and ran towards the figure, but she had come out too late - all life was gone from his normally jovial and kind eyes. She screamed out in anguish and threw herself upon the cold body. He was all she knew, he had taken her in when no one else had wanted her, he had taught her to fight and to fend for herself... to look after herself. He was the only family she really knew and now... she looked down at him, standing up slowly, tears streaming down her furred face. "Ahh... I see you found our little gift..."
She turned around only to come face to face with the thugs from before, the ones who had bloodied him up the first time, "Now, if you are a smart little girl kitty cat you will not follow in dear old daddy dante's footsteps... you will continue to fight and if we tell you to fall, you will fall..."
you bastards
The world went dark and she was left in her mind, not needing the visual scenes to remember what had happened next. She had spat in their faces and then run, stopping at Daddy Dante's flat to grab his trusty pack, filling it full of whatever provisions she could think of. She had left that night and had not returned for a year - travelling through distant lands trying her hardest to forget the body laying in the street. She had felt guilty for leaving him there, but she knew that he had friends who would have seen fit to bury the body. She felt responsible even though she knew that she was not the one that directly killed him.... she would never fall though, not when they told her to. She always fought the fair fight for herself and Daddy Dante.
The Goddess... he had mentioned her... did he know?[/color]
____
The lemur stopped at the door to the main audience chamber, partially in reverence to her lord and partially because of suprise at seeing a former fighter of Light, one of the Goddess' main men, being held up against the wall by Syntaru's tail. She averted her eyes and bent down low, waiting for Syntaru to acknowledge her before even coming into the room, not wanting to interfere with anything important, but keeping a wary eye on the bat just in case. Her non-mechanical paw went down to her side where one of her trusty blades sat and she grasped it gently, ready to act if the need arose. She knew that Syntaru had the situation under control, but it was no reason to be lax in gaurd, and thusly she waited.

Stealth just wimpered the tiny tot struggling in his mothers arm. He was small and all he could say was half formed words. He wanted to tell them to stop as they headed for the back entrance. He wanted to plead with them to not head to their doom. But all that came out was a childish wail. "NOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo!"the little kit cried out. His parents thought he was only having a cranky tantrum and only hurried out the back entrance. Stealth couldnt help but cry into his mothers soft fur.
Out they walked into the alley their fottsteps sounding in the silence. Up ahead though two figures seemed to emerge from the very shadows itself. A hedgehog and a fox their fur black and their pupils glowing red walked tword the cuople blocking them from their car. One riased his hand and spoke as black flame engulfed it."The age of shadow is upon us. You join or you perish. Their shall be no blocks in the masters way." He said pointing at the couple. Samantha simply set the fox cub down and stood infront of him protectivly. Before she and her husband let out tortured screams as they burst into black flames. their tortured screames filling the night as the unholy flame consumed them. Stealth closed his eyes screaming for the images to go away.
"LIke hell wil lI go away you welp!"Came a voice and a sharp pain to the stomach that droped him to his knees. Stealth grabbed his stomach and looked up seeing a thriteen year old wolf stand over him."FIGHT ME YOU WIMP IM NOT GOING TO LET SOME FOX BEAT ME SO FIGHT!"he cried back handing him to the ground. Stealth only groaned as he got back to his feet slowly. glancing around at the circle of hooting teenagers and to the ticked off larger wolf standing abovve him. The eight year old fox gulped and raised his fists. Obviusly this guy wass his old orphanages gang leader. and behind him all strewn on the ground were his lackys and from stealths aching bodies and the blood on his fists. Stealth seemed to have taken care of them. The fox rembered this now. The wolf had sent his best freind to the hospital, seriously hurting him and stealth had grew tired of the fear this wolf caused and stood up to him and gave a 'demontration 'of the martial arts classes hes been taken."COme and get me ya punk!" the wolf snarled lunging forward and with a growl the eight year old fox ran forward as well.
Another flash.
He was still running, but things had changed. the hooting teenagers turned into a stadium filled with fight fans, the circle turned into an arena and the wolf turned into an orange hedgehog with he just locked arms with and the world sudenly saw stars as their heads crashed into each other headbutting each other in a desperation move.
Meanwhile legion was getting closer to his icecap base. He was sending messages for it to bring the centurion project fully online and bring all operational units to combat ready status. He also sent inquieries about the labs other projects, particualy the ones dealing wit hthe study in how to creat artifical chaos energy.

The darkness once more lifted and time marched on in Syth's chamber, this time, Cronos had brought him forward several hundred years in the future from when his surrogate father had taken him. But time runs differently in the Zone Between Zones and he was roughly twelve if he had continued to mature as a normal deathog would.
The young Reaper in training was deftly swinging a pole arm, a simple staff that would one day be the tool of his office. Already his father's pride, Syth was allowed to wander the many dangerous lands that made up the Land of the Dead. Angels, Demons, and all manner of unlife roamed the countryside, the last refuge of all ethreal creatures that didn't belong in one place or the other. Up came the skeleton army, an impressive 20 this time. Fire lit the young deathog's eyes and his shadow pulsed beneath his feet. Helpless inside his own mind to stop the proceedings Syth just watched with a pang of guilt, here in memory his Shade lived on. . .
Short work was made of the boney foes, and panting on a small hill of cracked marrow and white stone Syth gave a shout of cheer! The cheer was short lived though, for he spotted a strange pair of eyes looking out at him from the underbrush. Later, he would find that young Lynda Stargleam had often watched him. An ethreal catgirl that had fallen in love with the young warrior. But alas, their love was short lived indeed, for it was in this time that Syntaru after freshly being defeated in another zone sought refuge in Thanatos' Realm to rebuild his power. The Evil God had taken a serious notice of the deathog and had been training him now and again to one day be his paragon of death and destruction on the realm of the living.
But like all deathogs, and especially this one, Syth was a proud sort and refused his would be masters offer at his side. Syntaru, not being one to take "no" for an answer tore the flesh from Syth's hands, giving him the trademark boney grip and death touch that only accomplished Reaper's posess. Forced to wear gloves to prevent him from accidently tearing out the souls of those he cared for, it did not detour Lynda and his love much to her peril. Three years pass, and Syth has grown stronger, wiser, and more aware of Syntaru's plot to use him in his quest against the goddess.
Syth plans to make an escape for Lynda's home realm in the Special Stage Zone, a place not easily found and even harder to enter. But it is hard to keep secrets from the Dark One when you remain under his eye constantly, and after a vicous training session, he attacked Syth and almost soul slayed him. Think her lover about to perish, Lynda sprung from the underbrush pouncing on the still weakened God of Darkness. If one looks closely, there are four one inch scars between his Unholiness' wings from Lynda's mortal attack.
Needless to say, the girl was slain instantly in a hail of red lightning that rent the stone she was standing on. Having watched the only thing he ever loved perish Syth took up the soul gem, a small green stone roughly the size of a pearl that was all that remained of Lynda and bonded it with his left leather gauntlet. Summoning his own scythe from the ether it created his weapon of office, and the battle that ensued with Syntaru left much of the Zone Between Zones in tatters.
Sadly, Syth was unable to avenge his lover's demise as one can not best the likes of Syntaru alone, even at half power. In pain, the deathog hung for many days pinned against a mountainside, his own weapon acting like a macabre pin. But the Reaper had come into his own, and in his home realm would not die. Inexorably he pried the weapon from his breast and slid down the rock face, inside Syth remembered anew his hatred for Syntaru in remembering a long lost love eons ago.
Outside, Syth's time chamber started to glow with a pulsing red energy, it seemed to be having a hard time containing him. Meanwhile;
Lucian had made excellent time, having worked out a predetermained plan with the dragon, they came in low for an initial straffing run after which the vampire would dismount and continue on foot. After all there was only so much he could do in the air.
Roughly three miles out from the point of contact, the sun set beyond the distant horizon and the vampire clicked off his protective shield. Like being reborn Lucian stretched his arms and soaked in the night's essence. Being able to move about during the day was one thing, but working during that time was a pain in the ass for the nocturnal hunter. But the time for waiting was over, and the time for hunting was now.
The dragon swooped in low, the base was not armed to the teeth, few would want to travel this far and nature sometimes made the best defenses. All the same, Lucian bade the dragon demolish the outer anti-air defenses and the guard barracks first. No back up and no retailiation for a swift retreat sounded good to the bloodsucker. The main plasma cannon rent the still wintery sky and the very air crackled with energy, the meager defenses like cardboard boxes before the dragon's might. After the inital pass the vampire bade the dragon land near the center of the base and destroy every last building it could see in a Godzilla like manner. Leaving as many of the areas living occupants to Lucian.
Accepting the orders Lucian hopped off the lizards back and plumet down into the snow drifts below. Cackling like a mad man he pounced on a hapless guard squishing it flat by terminal velocity alone. Shaking off the stray mechanical part and snow flurry Lucian stocked from corner to corner ripping a swath of destruction to match the dragon's own in the panicing and relatively poorly armed droids defenses.
It wasn't until a large garage door opened up and a shiny new batch of Centurions started marching out to investigate the disturbance did Lucian's preditor smile vanish. Why is it every time I start to have some fun the prey always pulls out a trump card?

Soon, there was silence. Luminous was alone, his eyesight dark....He could hear nothing, feel nothing, taste nor smell....it was as though he were truly blind. Nothing around him but darkness...solitude...but this was not what he needed. No, the darkness held no solitude for him, only....pain....
That was when the images began to come forth...the memories of his past...
*************************
"Well, albino, make with it!" The small white echidna looked up from the ground, a small stream of blood trickling down from his busted lip. There was fear in his eyes as he stood back up, shaking his head as he wiped the blood from his face. "No, it's not mine to give. Papa's entrusted me to get his medicine and I need this to get it..."
In front of him was a small group of bigger echidna children, some sneering and laughing, others just shaking their head. An echidna girl with a mean face spoke up, "Just kick his white ass and take it from him already, Ashland. It's not like he'll fight back or anything." The large echidna in the front, smirking as he turned his head to the girl, turned back to the white echidna child. "You hear that, albino. They WANT me to beat you to a pulp. At least then, you'll be redder."
The childs fists clenched at those words as everyone else laughed, then he turned and ran back. It was only seconds before he felt a crushing blow to his back, sending him sprawling to the ground as Ashland set a heavy boot on his back, making like a champion who just won the title match. Everyone else was laughing, but the young echidna child was crying...why did he have to be different? Why did everyone hate him?
Why?

Aries stared at the black and yellow hedgehog on his way out, an eyebrow raised he answered his redundant question.
"Yes, of course he is, why else would we be taking such an extreme measure? Now enter the chamber so that you might gain wisdom, young Thunder."
Aries walked out of the small corridor, sealing the access to the chamber and setting the release lock.. it would open again in the next 24 hours, when the warriors had completed their tests. There was no ther way out, other than completing the training. The white and green hedgehog walked, his arms crossed as he waited outside the Eternity River. Resting his weary soul, over the betrayal of Shae, and the attack upon Aurora. Elsewhere.. Syntaru dispatched the bat from his presence..
"Leave me now.. I will call for you when you are needed.. tell Tala to come in when you pass by her.." growled the demon.
