Kuri walked in with the others, seating herself next to Luminous. Her curious brown eyes trailed the echinda, until the food was presented by the odd, robed figures. Stomach rumbling lightly, the dhole smiled at Psychosis, the only one who was sitting there with her. "So, um, shall we begin?

Lucian's eyes went wide for but a moment, at first 50 to one sounds like alot, but Grounder units weren't particularly known for their intellect. Their rythmic running drills were like a dentis' nightmare, all of them encroaching in on the vampire with steady efficency. Their tough but sturdy treads moving them inexorably closer toward their target.
"Hmm, nothing to eat here, just a bunch of empty cans. Ah well, I could use a bit of target practice. Doctor, I don't know how much this version of you is human, but I would suggest looking away from me when I transform, at least initially. . . ."
The bloodsucker drew his arms in around himself, his cloak forming a pitiful shield when bared against the likes of the menacing drills. The moon came out from behind the clouds over the Oilic Ocean and the darkness that was Lucian Ostrum personified on the realm of the living once more. Once quaint gentry features warped and distored into inhuman demonic parodies. Well manicured hands ended in vicious claws and muscles on muscles rippled beneath black bat like fur. The glamor of humanity dispeled, a true creature of the night howled into the ceaseless coastal wind and begun it's grim work.
At first it seemed like the closest 10 bots had simply stopped functioning, from his opperations center Robotnik checked robots 12 through 22 but found that they weren't in his system anymore. When they exploded, their now functionless bodies nothing but shrapnel he knew that they'd been torn to ribbons as if by someone, or more appropriately, something's bare hands.
With numbers like this stealth and poise was pointless, this was a slaughter and the lambs lined up with the metalic hides waiting to be shorn and beheaded. The monsterous creature ripped through the lines of robots like a scythe through wheat. The only thing the gruesome drills found were the oil rigs deck or each other in the chaos caused by Lucian's rampage. By random chance or just dumb luck one of the grounders actually snuck up behind the vampire as he savored tearing the limbs off a random robot.
The soon to be doomed robot's swirling appendage dug into the heel of Lucian's right leg and a feral howl rocked the oil rig to it's foundations deep with in the sea. On shore, normally soundly sleeping Flickies flew away from the coast and away from the animalistic rage that echoed across the horrizon. Whipping around, a double over head smash crushed the renegade robot into scrap, nothing more than 6 inches of random metal standing up on top of anything.
When his smashing rage subsided the vampire surveyed his surrounding and found nothing but smoldering refuse and twisted metal. Not red eyed glowed nor a drill remained spinning. His opponets were down for the count, and in a shug of the shoulders a heavily breathing vampire returned to his previous a shape. A snape of his fingers and his gear returned, the glamor that made him easy to look at full in place once more. A bit of cold sweat ran down Lucian's face from the exertion, and he favored his injured leg by not standing fully on it.
While an interesting ecercise of power, such unleashing of dormant abilities interfered with a vampires ability to heal damage. And until he could rest and feed the blood sucker would have to make due.
"Ah, an excellent work out. But I have a feeling we're not done yet. In the words of my old enemy dear doctor, 'Bring it on!'"

Dr. Eggman just gazed at the vampire.. he was not surprised that he'd felled the Grounders so quickly, he was more shocked at how treamendously freaky the vampire now looked.
"Harumph, Phase 1 completed, excellent work.. but this was the easy round, now we move on to phase two, which is something much more difficult." said the Doctor, clicking another button on his command chair.
This time when the elevator rose, there were 10 SwatBots armed with Canister Rifles and 10 ShogunBots armed with Titanium dual-headed axes. Swats on the left and Shoguns on the right, they surrounded the vampire, and Eggman laughed from his chair.
"Hmm hmmm hmm hahaha, commence the second phase of testing!" shrieked the Doctor.
The SwatBots cocked their rifles, and the Shoguns readied their blades..

Lucian bowed the 20 approaching robots, knowing full well that they wouldn't and probably couldn't bow back. From behind him, out flicked his rapier. The long singled bladed weapon glamed in the ambient lunar light.
The vampire crouched as the swatbots surrounded him and readied to attack.Argh! Again nothing to munch on! I was so hoping to get a snack out of this running around. Let's see, let's see, Swatbots are alot like mortals, remove the head they fall down and don't get up again. Those axes might not be able to snap my blade into with it's magic but they'd certainly cleave me in two if given the chance. First things first, destroy the ones with ranged weaponry as I lack a similar toy!
Mode of attack desided on the Shotgun Swatbots opened up fire on the stationary vampire, they were all spaced properly as to not shoot each other. A series of loud bangs errupted through the once peaceful night and buckshot pelted into the oil rig floor. The combined shots tore a nice ragged hole in the platform and the robots seemed confused. Normally biologics burst in sprays of red liquid when targeted with shotgun amo, their confusion was removed a moment later. Along with the head of one of the shotgun bots. It fell over sideways to the ground in the only akward way things that were never alive do.
Stowing his blade for a moment Lucian picked up the gun and snapped it over his knees. If Robotnik was watching he might think that this was some sort of immature tantrum similar to carnage that happened a moment ago. But that thought was dispelled when while dodging another flurry of bullets and the first axe wielding bot he removed the remaining 9 very explosive shells from the guns stock. Pocketing them for the moment, Lucian drew his blade and went back to work.
Two of the axe bots had been programmed with complimenting styles. One chopping high while the other low, vice versa, and so on. They didn't even stand a chance, when the first bot made it's attack and it's pair coming in a fraction of a second behind, Lucian faded back a step just far enough to avoid another shotgun blast, then charged in head first. Living creatures don't do this, they have fear of death and dismember ment, not the vampire.
In passing the sweeping blade up high of an axe, the vampire severed the circuitry of the simlar robots leg. It fell over, no longer able to support it's self. Just in time for the second robots blade to swing in low, cleaving it's unsuspecting mate's head down the center. The resulting explosion destroyed them both. 3 down, 17 to go. At this point, many of the robots were having to shuffle around the elevator shaft to get at the quickly movign darkling. Built for stationary combat and guard duty these machines were not designed for speedy chase. You'd figure the good doctor would have learned considering his past nemesis. With all but 4 of the machines now clustered near the elevator Lucian made for the power output near the back of the shaft and crammed in the shells he had pilphered earlier.
All he had to do was wait a moment and one of the foolhearty robots opened fire, and that was all she wrote. The resulting blast, in addition to the electric damage, and destroying the elevators hold on that floor sent 12 of the combatants either in pieces or damaged into the briney sea below. The last of which twisted in air for but a moment at the edge, the original Shotgun holder that started the blast before it too joined it's doomed kin. 16 down, 4 to go.
But recovery took much longer than anticipated for the vampire, and an axe blade came dangerously close to his spine. Even the undead need their parts functioning to move about and anything more than a grazing blow might have crippled the vampire. Dashing back once more he ran around the make shift arena. His blade striking the ground seemingly randomly as he picked up speed and made two more rotations. Too fast for the remaining shotgun bot to train on him and far too fast for the shoguns to catch he dashed toward the middle, his speed having managed to the point of a green streaked blur. Deft flicks of the wrist sent two of the three axe wielding bots to the ground, their heads punctured and exploding. The last axe wielder had but one moment to strike at the vampire and did, and missed by a mile, it's arm came off in a flash of silver, then the other arm, then a puncture through the chest into the main processor sent it to it's knees.
With out any ammo left the remaining shotgun bot riffle butted Lucian when his back was turned. The sound of a stone cracking rung out over the oil rig and even Robotnik winced when he heard the sound. Lucian tumbled end over end toward the hole he made in the rigs platform, his sword catching onto a fringe at the last moment to keep him from going over the end into the running waters below, spelling his certain doom. Adn then, to the surprise of both robot and doctor he let go, and disapeared from sight.
The dumbfounded robot, not comprehending the ploy, went to the edge to investigate. It could sense nothing and it wasn't until the magical blade ripped through the platform into it's foot and leg pinning it there did it know it's days of functioning were numbered. With an unearthly flip Lucian landed on the platform behind the helpless robot, a few hand gestures and he merely pointed at the base of the back of the unarmed bot, and searing blast of dark energy wreathed in crimson launched the bot into the air at an almost horizontal angle. It's leg still attatched to the platform the remains crashed into a near by communications tower, the resulting rupture of the robots fuel sourcing exploding in an aray of electricity and fumes. The tower fell across the hole in the oil rig like some haphazzard bridge. The vampire dusted it's self off and smiled.
"Opps?", was it's only reply.

The Doctor growled, immensely annoyed with the vampire's wanten destruction of this rig. He hoped the next wave of mechanical minions would perform much better.
"Rrrrgh.. DO try to be a little more careful, this rig took ages to build.. and will take a while to repair.. that said, now we move on to Phase 3.. GUARDIANS.. HO!" said the Doctor.
On cue, four rather unique robots made their appearance on the 'stage'. Each popping up from a hidden silo in the corners of the platform. The first, was a roboticized salamander, who spewed flames from an installed hose under his robotic tongue. It was colored in alternating shades of Black and Red, and also had a bladed tail. The second was a large roboticized turtle armed with gun barrels in his palms. One that fired liquid nitrogen, (OOC: The stuff that freezes on contact with.. anything other than what's dispursing it.) and another that fired pure water. He was an icey blue in color and despite his size, and weight.. was light on his feet.
The third was a roboticized crow, black and streaked in yellow. She had boosters attacthed to the robotic wings on her back, and her hands were affited with extendable tesla chords, charged with 500,000 volts of electricity. The final, was a roboticized armadillo, a hard titanium shell, serated claws and sonic emmiters in her palms, capable of causing earthquakes. She was a light brown in color.
"Hah hah hah hah.. let phase 3 begin!" said Eggman.

Psychosis smiled back at the young Dhole.
"This is indeed quite a delectable feast, dear Kuri, pitty we are the only ones enjoying it.."
The templar took only a few fruits and a salad with dressings. He was, afterall, vegetarian. The food he'd taken was delicious, and protein enriched, one would expect nothing less from foods prepared in the realm of absolute paradise.
"It has been some time since I had such a good meal.."
He tried to keep up a meaningful conversation, to stow any feelings of uneasiness or worry. So t hat not only the Dhole could be comfortable being in a realm where only those long dead have graced, but himself as well. He was also intently curious on what the Goddess would address upon completion of the meal.

"YOU'VE GOT TO BE BLOODY KIDDING ME! WHAT NEXT, YOU THROW AURORA HERSELF AT ME!?!"
The vampire flustered to no end that not only were the tests still going but that he was facing four well armed, well armored, and well made opponets all at once after dispatching 70 enemies only moments ago. His once smooth demeanor was lost as his monsterous gaze became more and more derranged. His normally fragile grip on reality was slipping when he could afford it the least. Wrenching off his well torn cloak from his almost fatal trip over the side, Lucian flexed his arms and waited a moment.
"The fire's the most dangerous to me personally, but the wind can catch me the fastest. The water and earth can uproot me leaving me open to the other two or worse yet chuck me over the side into the poluted waters below. ARGH! I swear if I didn't need funding I'd tear his light blasted head of and. . .calm down, calm down. Just like last time, do his bidding now, then chomp into him when he's weakest and depending on you later. Calm, calm, cal. . bloody hell. Lucians thoughts were interupted when a ball of flame soared by where his head was a moment ago. The searing flames lapping at his highly flamable essence, the remants of what looked like a sunburn on his cheek.
Growling away the pain Lucian decided to improvise, his only weapon still pinned upside-down to a robots leg in a place he dare not go while four powerful mechs were discharging their worst at him. For all of Robotnik's blather about wanting to preserve the oil rig he had to wonder what the point was of warning him, when the jarring stomps of the Earthbot rattled his fangs to their roots. After sliding under a close death by electrocution the passing Raven, who looked remarkably like some one he'd fought against before, he reached the tip of the communications tower he had felled moments before.
"Ah ha! I knew it!" Lucian cried as he croched down and wrenched the top of the antena off. Like most communications towers, this one came with a lightning rod, and electrical device that absorbed serious voltage from all the coastal storms that would roll in. His delay in procuring his new weapon cost him though, an arctic blast of air roared past the prone vampire as a precursor to the saturating soak of liquid nitrogen right behind it. Lucian's only saving grace was that the robot shooting it hadn't moved from it's depot, being a turtle and slow, and so the blast wasn't as heavily concentrated as a point blank shot.
All the same his joints and limbs ceased up like an engine run too long on insufficent oil. These robots retained some of their core personalities and the salamander slowly stalked up to it's prety. "So the bloodsucker things he can replace us as our Master's Elites, ha!" The lizard was foolish to gloat right in front of the darkling, his blood still boiling with rage the effects of the icing were sort lived indeed. And the headbutt the creature recieved moments after it's taunt was proof enough that Lucian was not done here!
The flying raven not shocked, nor non-pulsed by his hot headed compatriots plight, swooped in for the kill. Even in life this one was a cold blooded killer, and being turned metal did little to deviate from that. But once more the roboticized avian clasped at the vampire and her claws sunk deep into vapire flesh, and was rewarded with a shuddering slam into her spine, a quiet voice whisphered into her hearing node, "I'm sorry Seele, we could have made beautiful bloodshed together. . ." . The electricity absorbing rod thrust between the tesla coils the bird carried rooted to her own chassie resulted in the obvious, a squawk and an explosion rent the sky.
The brilliant discharge of light and energy was the perfect foil for Lucian to move to his next target. Armadillos are not known for the eyesight, being burrowing creatures they prefer the dark earth to the brillant rays of the sun. And in spite of being a robot, it's eyes were not developed to that of it's other metal kin. Ducking down low, in protective shell, it was invincible to all outside harm. But there was very little protecting it from with in.
Lucian pounced on the creatures form, and the semblance of a robotic chuckled issued from it's well armored depths. The laughter turned to screams a moment later, a wound on the vampires wrist sent a steady stream of overly dark blood into the crevices in the armadillos armor. Sure it was protected from all kinds of force, energy, heat, and electricity. But blood is not much thicker than water, and once inside it took but a gesture of blood magics to turn the blood away from it's master into a quick burning acid. The blood did nothing to the exterior, but like all shells, they protected the fragile innards from harm, and the shell had failed.
Hopping down, Lucian hid behind the malfunctioning Earthbot, which was just as well. For the Icebot and it's freezing blasts had finally sauntered out and let loose on it's now worthless ally. While the bloodsucker could appreciate the robots ruthlessness, he snickered at it's folly. The torrent of liquid nitrogen saturating the armadillo to the freezing point, even titianium has a point of stress and that point was found. A large crack issued forth and the robot was locked into it's curent position. It's internal devices having fought back the acid in time to fail to defend it's self from further exterior harm.
A sadistic grunt and the helpless armadillo was sent rolling on the oil rig platform, all the way across the arena, and over the edge to it's doom in the waters below. By now the salamander had recovered from it's disorienting headbutt and realized in few moments two of it's four compatriots had perished rather gruesome and painful final deaths. The vampire plade for keeps and would be taking no prisoners it seemed.
The two remaining bots having seen their numbers cut in half decided to work together instead of individually. Alternating blasts, Lucian did all he could to avoid being frozen or fried till he collected his disgarded cloak. Shredding it with one claw and dashing toward the turtle, he slide tackled the creature in the leg, crunching it's knee and sending it sprawling forward. It's heavy shell a poor counterbalance to forward force. And there on it's back Lucian spied the creature's weakspot. To generate the forward blast of liquid nitrogen it needed an air supply to discharge the harmful substance. The intake fan spun on behind a grille until the vampire crammed his tattered cloak into it, leaping back to avoid another fireball the turtle found it's feet and with hate in it's electrical eyes it opened up a blast point blank at Lucian.
It's surprise was complete when naught but a trickle of hyper-condensed water came out and humongous shards of ice rent the creatures frame into some macabre icesculputre. It's active lights fading to black as the spreading liquid worked it's devilish science on the circuitry that ran the turtles nervous system. And then the salamander was all alone. It reviewed the situation: the vampire had used no more magic so it was either exausted or waiting, it was bleeding badly from the Elecbot's attack and it's movements were jerky from the freezing. The Earthbot had been all but ineffectual but flesh peeled away from the vampires cheek to expose his jar bone were the glancing blow from the fire had taken him.
He was still the most dangerous weapon to the vampire, and he knew it, but he didn't know he was the most dangerous thing to himself as well. Clasping his hands together while the salamander observed it's prey, Lucian summoned up his sand clone, and it stood before him, equally thrashed but emotionless. To confuse the matter further, it ran off to the far side of the platform away from the fight. Thinking that this was some sort of diversionary illusion it charged the original spitting flame completely. Lucian barely dodged and when it was only ten feet away all he did was hold out his hand as if to signal it to stop.
Confused the creature did, and something flickered by it's feet. Looking down, he saw a slightly thickened morass of liquid coating the rig all around him, it's gaze was broght to the sand clone standing by the main pump, gushing gallon after gallon of oil at the salamander. After turning of the pump and setting up a protective field for it's master and the device which ommited the oil it pointed back it's way. T
he Firebot only saw a pair of boots raining down at the same time on to the creatures head, burring it a few inches into the floor, only to leap away into the sky toward the protective field. If it had been alive it might have realized the danger, but it opened up it's mouth to launch a fatal fireball at the retreating vampire as it was sitting up.
Still drenched in oil.
If robots could scream, this one did, thrashing about melting while it was still 'alive'. Until it's own internal fuel finally heated up beyond it's designed tollerance and exploded in a plume of fire that engulfed much of the platform and singed many of the bots guarding Lucian on the parimeter of the arena. Had he not set up the ward, or rather had his clone not, the whole rig might have exploded, taking them all to a firy, watery grave.

The good Doctor looked around.. the immense damage on his oil rig would take MONTHS to repair.. it's not as though this was his only rig.. but it WAS his, and that's what mattered. He grunted and growled, cursed and ranted from his chair;
"Butter tarts and prune juice.. scrambled eggs and toast.. bacon bits and hashbrowns.. AAAAAAARRRGH BLOODY BLASTED HELL!! OPEN FIRE.. OPEN FIRE YOU WRETCHED TIN CANS!!" rambled the Doctor.
On command his SwatBots and ComBots armed with the UV guns charged their weapons and fired at the vampire.. for a fraction of a moment, Lucian feared he'd gone too far, and awaited the barrage of UV fire.. which.. did absolutely nothing other than tickle.. it would seem that the Doctor's weapons were nothing but flashlights..
"...... ..... .... ... .. .Crap." swore the Doctor. "*groan* Looks like I'll have to do this myself.. TIME FOR PHASE 4 MY NOSFERATU!"
The Doctor squealed in glee as he disappeared from the Vampire's view. He was gone for quite some time too, but sure enough he returned.. and with a nice new toy.. an impressively large aircraft rose out from the oils of the sea. It was an awesome piece of military machinery.. very intimidating. It hovered over the platform and opened it's cargo bay.. lowering down a rather large steel crate by crane.
The flying mechanical palace stayed high in the air above the rig, as the four sides of the crate blew down, revealing a nice.. big.. heavily armed and armored walking battle tank.
"What say you now vampire? This is the Egg-secutioner.. armed with the latest Egg Missles, Gatling Machine Guns.. and a host of other nifty surprises.." taunted Eggman from the mech's cockpit. (OOC: Look! No THINGY this time...)
The mechanical monstrosity began to mobilize and move towards Lucian, guns ablazing..

Lucian rolled out of the way, his clone and the oil pump being shredded to bits. Destroying what ever was left of this oil rig's usefullness. The rapid fire machine guns igniting the now errupting oil in a liquid malestrom of fountaining fire.
"Oh that tears it you tub of lard! I've played your games and been more than patient. I'm going to tear you from that machine and play kick ball with your head tons of fun!"
Robotnik temporarily stunned by his own mistake, and the destructive show before him making a rather interesting spectacle in a way. The vampire crouched low, on the fringe of the arena, just outside the circle he had been running in with the Shotgun/Shogun Swatbots earlier. Dabbing a bit of blood from his wound with the bird Lucian smeared it on one of the scratches his sword had made seemingly at random. Red electricity ran all around the circle that now enclosed the Battle Tank. Runes flared to life with unholy undead energy.
"That ugly arsed monstrosity looks pretty heavy Doc, not unlike yourself Thunder Theighs! I wonder, if I set off this destructive run and send that middle section of the rig into the ocean if you can swim to shore before you rust!"

"Aaaagh.. at least I can stand out in the sun! You pale faced, self-absorbed NANCY BOY LEECH!" screamed the Doctor, letting a barrage of Missles fire at the Vampire. "I've seen you.. mulling over your appearance.. I bet you enjoy the company of OTHER MEN.. if you know what I mean.."
Eggman winked, and wafted his hand, as if Lucian could see him... which of course he couldn't.. but this WAS Eggman. The mechanoid walked closer and closer to teh Vampire, the hailfire of bullets and missles becoming more concentrated.

Lucian might have just thought to hell with the consequences and charged Eggman at that point but thankfully he was too busy running for his unlife. The spell he activated took awhile to activate and he was just trying to stay ahead of the hailstorm of explosive certain death right behind him.
Huffing and puffing Lucian taunted back, the explosive runes he'd laid down firing off one by one as he ran along, Coming from the guy with the largest collection of chicken porn I find it hard to take offense to being accused of homosexuality. I'll have you know I had a HAREM of girls MY SPECIES back home.
Not that you'd know, tell me, was it akward switching from vasaline to forty weight?"

Steam literally shot out of the Doctor's ears.. his face bright red in anger. He let loose with a fury of button pushing. Missles scourged the remnants of the oil rig.. bullets riddled through the fallen robotic corpses, ammo shells littered thr ground beneath the mechanoid's feet. Several bombardments of frag grenades boomed around the Vampire.
Just as Eggman thought he was besting the Vampire, a communication came up on his viewscreen, locking his viosn of the platform infront of him, halting the robot as well.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT!? I'M BUSY TEACHING A LESSON TO HOST OF QUEER EYE FOR THE UNDEAD GUY!!" shouted the Doctor, his finger unknowingly still on the unit's microphone switch, meaning Lucian heard every word.
"Sorry to interrupt Dr. Eggman, but Gulo has been severly injured on his mission. He is being tended to by the Medi-Bots and will be arriving at the Vega-Shelter in Eastern Robotropolis momentarily.."
"WHAT?!?! GULO?!?! HE'S INJURED?!?!" said the Doctor, a tinge of serious worry in his voice.
If Lucian was going to strike, NOW would be the perfect time.

The sudden stop of uncoming fire almost threw the vampire, he had to stop running forward and catch himself now that he had no reason to continue onward. Ceasing the moment he lept up ontop of the stationary battle tank, the steam and gunsmoke around the machine made an excellent cover for the stealthy vampire.
Lightly touching down on the cockpit he slid aside the protective omni-glass covering and poised to bury a shard of shrapnel Lucian had picked up on his way to the machine into the head of the doctor, quite possibly repeatedly. Hands raised high the bloodsucker whistled, and slowly Robotnik's gaze went up.
"You know, I could make a penetration joke here but it just seems to easy. So how about we just skip the villified quip and go right on to making a very nasty mess of your head, mkay?"
Robotnik was trapped, he had no where to run, and no other tricks to play. It would seem that the long rein of Dr. Ivo Robotnik would end once more in another Zone at the hands of Lucian Ostrum. Giving out a victorious roar the vampire thrust the shard up only to stop a few inches from Eggman's face.
The last of the destructive runes worked their efficent magic and the entire midsection of the affected rig platform lurched downward suddenly. "Bloody contancerous heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellll!"
In a free fall that would last a few moments Eggman and Lucian floated impotently next to one another, waiting for the impact with their watery graves below.
"You know ol' chap, I think we got a wee bit carried away. Let's see about your underling, hmm?"
A carrier ship, keyed for emergencies such as this swooped out, it's open cockpit catching both Lucian and Eggman. Both spent a few moments straightening their singed clothing and stretchign battle worn limbs. Few things clear the mind like freshly avoiding a painful death. On flew the carrier ship, up the skybase, so that they might expedite their journey back to HQ.
