The undead creature smiled, his foot was in the door so to speak.
"I am a monster, not unlike you though a tad more old fashioned you could say. Your sensors didn't detect me for the most part because I'm not some warm blooded meat sack that wants to get the local tyrants attention.
I am a Vampire, a creature sealed away for centuries on end and the world has changed. Once, I had a great army of undead creatures at my beck and call, but after a scuffle with Aurora she send me away from my home Zone and here.
Oddly enough, you're alive in this one and as we have a mutual pair of enemies I figured my services as a Bounty Hunter of sorts would be adiquate enough to have my base repaired in the Shifting Sands Zone. As great as technology is robots are limited to preprogramed strategy and limitations on creative though. And if you can find a better tactician than me I'll gladly walk out into the noon day sun unprotected."
Meanwhile;
Shade bowed low to the Mistress of Light, just because he boss was an arrogant prick didn't mean he had to be. "M'lady, my Master is here as a favor to an alternate Shae. That bat did my Master a good turn and is in his debt, sadly that version of Shae is no more and not wishing to remain in the debt of your templar we have traveled to the Prime Zone to see if Shae is in need of assistance.
While I know not all that my Master does, I can wager a guess that our coming here is not a coinsidance but neither is it fate. My Master is also wounded, though not critically, so we will play what ever minor role the Bat wishes of us. That is all, nothing more, nothing les."

"V-V-VAMPIRE?!!?" shrieked the Doctor. "AHHH!.. OOOH!! EE-eeehh hey waitaminute.. as you said, it's noon..ish.. and the sun's out.. how on Mobius are you able to stand the sunlight and not turn to dust? Furthermore, how is it that you can survive the intense sunlight of the Shifting Sands Zone?"
The Doctor grew more curious and intrigued by the second, if this vampire was as resourceful as he seemed, he could make for a powerful ally. Meanwhile back at the temple;
"Ah yes, I'd forgotten you come from the Omega Zone, in that reality, my brother has been defeated.. at the cost of that reality's Orion.. or Hybrid as he's known there." said the Goddess. "You've certainly changed.. Shade.. as has Syth no less.. you still displease every fabric of my being, but your existence serves its purpose.. as such.. I am willing to accept any help available to this reality's battle. It is a very different world here indeed."

"To answer your first question good Doctor, I am indeed a vampire. A parasitic like creature that sustains my quasi-immortal existance by drawing out the living blood of mortal creatures and draining them of it. The only one of my kind in this Zone, unless they are hiding and our kind aren't prone to staying hidden.
To answer your second question I'm not actually here, this is simply a golum of sand with a drop of my blood binding it together via a spell. As soon as it has served it's purpose I will dispel it and it will be nothing more than pile of fine rock. I snuck into your compound in the night and am quite happily hidden away from the Cursed Day Star as we speak.
And the answer to your last query I survive because I'm good at it, though the Shifting Sands make an excellent place for repose when one needs it. That, and that zone is close enough to the equator where the day and nights are always the same length in spite of the season. 12 hours of light, and 12 hours of darkness. Needless to say, it's a hassle to travel some time but evil empires don't build themselves as you well know."
Meanwhile;
Again the living shadow bowed low. "While I understand your trepidation in dealing with our kind please bear in mind that it was not my Master's wish to become what he is but rather he was forced to survive in such a manner. True, he is your antithesis, but I would like to think that all creatures have just as much a right to die as they do to live.
Save for your immortal ilk we will all grow tired and want our eternal rest, and only for the most merciless and cruel will they find the respite of death denied them. I am my Master's creation but he allows me as much freedom as he can, as you can see, so even good things can come from tainted beginings.
But I have taken up too much of your time and a critical moment approaches. Summon us when you have need M'lady, surely this Zone is in peril if you yourself have decided to play your hand directly in such mortal matters."

"Well, though my avatar in the Omega Zone may have been steadfast and nuetral, it was because of the circumstances." said Aurora "In this, the central Prime Zone, my involvment must be much more biased, trust, you will be called upon, but for now 'tis best you and your master remain observant, he will know when to strike."
Aurora bowed her head solemnly, turned, and ascended the stairs returning to the temple balcony. Shae was still surveying the forest from the sky.. he suddenly spied something glimmering in the high noon light.
"Hmm? What is this I wonder." said Shae, swooping down to the forest floor. He discovered two SwatBots, depleted from the Goddess' EMP. ~Hey, Fox, head to the East of the Temple.. there's something you should see here.~
At the Egg Dome;
"How do I know this isn't just some ploy so you can overtake my empire for you own? Blah, what am I saying, all I'd need was a piece of wood and you'd be dust.. very well.. I'll send a retrieval shuttle to you, it'll block out the sun long enough for you to enter one of my hangars, we'll discuss further matters of our arraignment from there."

((OOC: Jebus, you guys just love leaving the one who has the least internet time a bunch to catch up on))
Luminous couldn't see anything, but he heard well enough what was going on. Explosions, metallic feet ont he ground, followed by a mass rumble of falling machinery. Whatever he was being drawn to, there was a powerful entity there. Best to be on his guard. walking onward, he finally steps into the clearing, overhearing thre....no, four voices, one female, the rest seemingly male. The female seemed to have an angelic, passionate voice, yet there was a tinge of worry tagged to it. The other seemed....docile, in a sense, obedient to what seemed to be his master. There was also a gruff voice, most obviously a wolverine by his accent alone. The last one was a calm, yet angered voice. He had yet to identify any of these voices, for none sounded familiar....
His normal first impulse would be to turn and walk away. The rumors themselves were enough to put anyone on edge of a white creature under the cloak of shadow, but this time, he felt compelled to make himself known. Walking forward with his walking stick in hand, he spoke up. "Excuse me, but could any of you tell this blind man where he is?"

{{OOC: Lol, I know what you mean, Luminous}}
Kuri continued walking, mumbling something akin to 'too freakin' early for this insanity,' under her breath when the sky lit up. The dhole's eyes widened as she started to pick up the pace, running in the direction of the bike tracks, coming only to a stop when she saw the tracks stop at the bike itself. Leaning down to see better, Kuri tried to turn it on, getting nothing. "Whatever that thing was," she mused, "probally shorted this thing out..." Nearby, the dhole could see some sort of headset lay broken. Shrugging, she continued to run in the same direction, hoping to find some answers.

(OOC: Eheh, sorry guys, I should've warned you. This is about how fast the old A.o.M. RP moved.. OH and if anything Aurora's done thus far, seem scontradictory to other things she's said.. it's intentional. Ie; Telling Shae that she does not care for the interlopers when she was actually counting on their arrivals. She's just enigmatic that way.)
The Goddess turned from the steps, peering down to the ground where the pure white Echidna stood. Gulo also noticed the Echidna standing there, and he grew even more weary.. he would have to act fast if he were to succeed.
"Ahh, noble Luminous, nice of you to join us." said Aurora "You are probably not familiar with anyone here, but I assure you you are among friends.. I am the Goddess of Light, Aurora, you stand upon the ground of the Temple of Shadow.
As she did with Stealth, she sent a pillar of air and leaves, lifting Luminous up to the balcony of the Temple.
"We are in need of your help, hard as it may seem to believe." explained Aurora. "I'm sure you've felt the evil presence on this land, this is what has drawn you here, this is what we recquire your help with, we need merely wait for the final piece of our intricate web.."

Luminous was rather surprised to be lifted off his feet to be set in a higher setting. He could tell that the air was much clearer than before, but what really threw him off was that who he was talking with was the Goddess of Light. Being of the element, he felt compelled to kneel, but kept himself as his curiosity took the better of him. "Intricate web? What is happening the planet I call home, and what may I do to be of service?"

(ooc- I should've known better... that is what I get for not having access to the net on Sunday! bah....caught up sort of in reading- hopefully this is okay!)
Tala bows deeply, "As you wish" are her simple words as the Lemur takes a few steps backwards from her meeting and, turning around, disappears out of the chamber. She walks quickly and with purpose down the dark halls, her eyes used to not having much light to work by and her memory knowing the area well enough to get through blindfolded. Almost imperceptibly, she nods to two large creatures who seem to be making their rounds and they quickly fall in line behind her, not needing any more direction than that.
The soft cloth of her dark clothing makes no sound as she walks down and out of the area, heading towards the direction of the large and imposing temple. She was sure in her goal and she knew that she would not fail. Quietly and quickly she gives orders of what the beasts are to do upon reaching the temple and they nod in agreement being the type of creatures to follow directions right down to the very letter. She was careful and precise in her wording, not wanting there to be any more trouble than there needed to be on such a quest.
It had been a long time, longer than she could remember since she had come into her Lord's service and she did not even think twice about the past any longer, it did not matter at all. She had a greater purpose now, the arrive quickly with the help of the shadows, at hte temple... or rather, just outside the area as the crackle of energy and the hoard of voices in the area belly the large group that is waiting. "I did not expect such a large welcoming party" She mutters quietly to herself, shaking her head in resignation. "The plan still stays, go"
The large beasts split off, one going one direction and the other going the opposite direction as the Lemur blends herself into the shadows and begins to travel through them to the entrance of the large temple, going hopefully unnoticed through the area. The beasts, in the meantime, trudge through the area as quietly as they can, each circling around as the head towards the temple's entrance.

[quote author=admin board=mainrp thread=1142103765 post=1142203229 "Hmm? What is this I wonder." said Shae, swooping down to the forest floor. He discovered two SwatBots, depleted from the Goddess' EMP. ~Hey, Fox, head to the East of the Temple.. there's something you should see here.~ [/quote]
Stealth growled and ran east slipping silently trough the brush heading to the east side of the temple. He then slipped through the brushes comming up behind hybrid with a frown. He muttered something about his head as his eyes gazed down upon the fallen swatbots.
Stealth shook his head as he kneeled down to inspect the mechanical men touching then with a sigle fginger and pulling away a balck powder."Oxidation from eletrical arcs more than likely it short circuted. Probably from the same blast that killed my bike and comm gear. So these cant be the raiders, yet from the looks of things,"he said glancing around," they seem to leave the only trail around here. But these hunks of junk couldnt have possibly...."He said but sudnely stopped, it was quiet earily quiet only the noise from the ones speaking at the temple could be heard. To some that might not be strange, but the fox got an icy shiver down his spine as his insticts screamed at him. He put away his staff and pulled out a pistol clicking the saftey off."Its quiet, no birds, no animals...their scared..."the hunter said glancing around the bush.

Kuri continued to walk through the brush and plants, hoping to figure out what's going on, until she came upon a clearing. The dhole blinked, looking at the others who had conjugated around the steps of a large, though weathered, temple. Suddenly, she felt out of place. "Uhm.. Hi?" she said shakily, wearily looking to see an enchinda suspended in the air not to far away from her current place.

Shae looked around the treetops as well, the few jays and flickies he'd seen had dispursed form the area. Something dark had forced them away..
"IT'S TIME.." shouted Shae, grabbing the Fox by the hand and quickly teleporting back to the temple grounds.
At the blacony, Aurora glanced upon the Dhole, who had just arrived.
"Kuri, hello, with your arrival I can now explain why you were all fated to arrive here.." said Aurora, just as Shae returned from the forest. Before continuing she moved Kuri up to the balcony, sitting her on a crumbled pillar by the temple's entrance.
"Eons ago, when there was nothing but infinite blackness, my essence was forged as I took corporial form.. after me came the essence of Syntaru, two beings of immeasureable strength and power. One evil, oen good, one light, one dark, we battled my brother and I, for millenia. The force of our fighting created planets, stars, solar systems.. and even life. Finally, I managed to tear my brother's SoulGem from his body and imprison him in a seperate dimension on this planet. The creation of this prison also created what you know as 'Zones.'
I shattered the SoulGem and spread the pieces out accross the planet, forging 13 Star Spirits who built temples and sealed the pieces in carbon statues. Upon succession of this, I went into a dormancy for a number of centuries, ages later passed, and after building his strength, Syntaru now plans to rise again and take his revenge. He will send his forces and cult to retrieve the shards of his SoulGem so he may become whole."
As the Goddess spoke her tale images of her words were flashed into the minds (OOC: You too Lum, she's a Goddess afterall XP) of those around her.
"You mobians are here to help defend your planet, you are part of a force of mobians who are destined to stand against the evil of my brother." said the Goddess. "I know this will be hard for some of you to take in.. but you must stay your fears, your worries, and your questions for now.."
Once the Goddess has finished speaking, Shae stepped forward.
"The demon's general is nearby, I can sense Shadow Beasts among us as well.. you who have gathered.. these beasts are not easy to overcome, they are relentless and ferocious, they have many strengths and few weaknesses.. you must use all of your senses to track these beasts if they disappear, for they will take advantage if you lose sight.." said Shae, pausing after he'd said 'sight'. "..err.. if you lose track of them."
As all this was going on, no one was paying attention to Gulo, who was readying himself to make a move for the temple's entrance.. he would wait for these, beasts, to make their attack and then bolt inside during the confusion.

Stealth sat their woozily,he never did like teleportaion, bad memories from volunteering for EDF R&D department. Still he slowly overcame this as he listened to her tale, a frown on his face as images of planets forming and an eon long battle came to his mind. He sighed and growled as he looked up at auroua. He never did belive in fate. Nor in destiny, depite her request to keep questions out of it he had to speak one that burned in his heart. "But Why Us Wolfie! I cant speak of the rest of these bozos but I dont have any special powers witch to speak of I cant make energy beams from my palms I cant cast great magic or make psy blasts with my mind. I cant fly or teleport without some kind of technology. Hell witho out my tech I can be preaty damn Weak. How in the hell can a bunch of mortals stand up to that demon! I mean yea shadow beasts no problem When I was in the hunter corps I fought a coupel of shadow mages who could summon shadow creatures but still!"he called out all the while his eyas darted to the surounding clearing ears straining to hear movemnt, nose constantly sniffign the air for some unholy scent. Stealth was no fool. Just opinionated.
