Amon stopped in his tracks, dropping to he's knees. Beads of swet dripped from his brow and splashed on the forest floor. He took in several deep breaths and calmed himself down. He heard Ci Ci's voice echo in his head, but he could not muster the energy to respond. How would he explain it? He couldn't simply tell her that he was going to die trying to save her life.. still, other than the outright terror, there was something else about the vision that was bothering Amon.
Normally his visions were vague, and never directly related to him at all. Not once in the time after gaining his Psionic abilities did he have a vision of himself. It perplexed him.. was the Eternity Flow reaching out to him? Or was it some other force.. perhaps the will of the darkness, of the Demon trying to confuse him. He picked himself back up, turned around and started walking back the way he'd come holding his head in his hand.
Back in the Temple, Spade was not far behind Kuri. He could not detect the Shadow anywhere, but still he was weary, making sure not to make himself out. He sat in wait, watching, staying still until the Shadow made his move. Though Spade was still al ittle lagged and worse for wear from battling the snake, he had to push himself if things became dire. But for now he watched, silent, much like the Shadow himself.

Shade hovered in the darkness, along a rafter in the ceiling. He watched the Dhole look around curiously, and began to grow impatient.. the prize she sought was right infront of her and she did not know it. He decided to give her incentive and a shove in the right driection. He made a gleam of light with some reflective stone, aiming the shimmer onto the smooth carbon statue, causing it to glint in the Dhole's eyes.. like a giant sign that said 'Soul Gem Over Here.'
Elsewhere in the Chaos Realm, Aurora turned back to face Paladin.
"I know you have no daily task of your own aside from your office.. but you must understand, with weighing this last resort option my mind has been occupied.. if you recquire something to do you can check on the mortal warriors.. inform them of the situation.. but do it delicately.. do not give them the full details.. and as far as giving something up, Rayne did not mean literally, what he meant is that we would need to forgo who we are.. beings that protect the light.. we would have to act as one of them.. merciless, ruthless, and relentless.. it is for that reason that this option is a last resort.. the emotional toll such an event will take can be madening.." said the Goddess, closing her eyes. "It pains me deeply to have to go this far, but we must stop Syntaru at all costs.. but no mortal blood shall be shed.. the remaining Temples lie in deserted areas.. no indigenous peoples, no occupying forces.. and if there are, Rayne will see to it that they are evacuated through means of Holy Vision.. history will not repeat itself.. when we last used Celestius Nova it was to halt a powerful Shaman of a primitive tribe.. he had grown to immeasureable power and was using his own people as shields.. he had grown into a demon forged of the Earth.. we were careless and did not understand just how fragile our creations were.. but since then the mortal coil has improved, evolved.. you Mobians are an example of that.."
The Goddess paused again, heaving a sigh, then opening her eyes once more.
"Paladin.. no matter what happens.. know that it is for the greater good.. whether we succeed or we fail.. as long as we faught valliantly it will have not been for nothing.. but if Syntaru does ascend into reality.. then I fear.. Father will return.. but I cannot think like that.. I must believe that we will succeed.. Paladin.. tend to the mortals.. I shall reconvene the Court when the remaining warriors return.. then we shall decide whether Celestius Nova is needed or not... and if it is, your orders will be handed out.." said the Goddess, entering her chambers and locking shut the door.
(OOC: If your head is going "x.O" because she didn't answer your question directly, Syth, it was intentional.. the Goddess is very wraught with emotion right now, and ever more vague as well as a tad ramble-prone.)

The once grim reaper now grim paladin stalked away from the sealed chamber's doors. Much more had been conveyed in the Goddess' articulation than what the deathog had inquired about. Thousands of scenarios whirled through his head. To be ruthless, relentless, and emotionless. This depiction of what the paragons of light were to become troubled the vanguard deeply.
It sounded alot like how he used to be. . . .
Making his way to the infirmary, the battered deathog took stock of the remaining heroes still alive and present. Stealth appeared to be alright though his pride was badly wounded. Thunder was critical, but that was a small surprise if his opponet was critical. CC and Psy had not returned though according to the goddess they too had failed in their quest. After gathering a few flicky messangers he sent out the mental call to those in the field to hurry back to the Chaos Realm. He had a meeting of his own to host with the mortals and he needed to inform them of the Goddess' desperate manuver on the horizon.

The forest was still fairly calm and quiet, the various creatures within frightened by the two mobians that had made such a rushed pace through the brush, ignoring everything but the matter at hand. The quick-running feline, her mind so occupied on calling out to Amon, almost did not see the returning hedgehog who was walking with his hand in his paws but at the last moment she noticed him and was able to come to a screeching halt. Even for one as phsyically fit as herself she had been pushing her own limits and she stopped for a moment to catch her breath and to watch the psionic who had yet to take notice of her, so caught up was he in whatever was going on in his mind. His shoulders were slumped and the glimpse of his eyes that she could catched showed much pain and sorrow. Any anger that was left over quickly dissipated and disappeared into the warm, moist air.
CC bent her head to the side, lifting one paw to scratch behind one of her ears, a curious expression upon her face - torn between wanting to reach out to him and not being sure if that would be the right thing to do, not having much practice in these areas. She took a hestitant step forward and mentally cursed herself for her silliness and took the last few steps towards Amon in a confident stride. She reached out a soft paw and gently touched his shoulder, she did not squeeze or speak, just waited for him to stop and recognize that she was there in front of him. At her touch he did stop and she moved her paw up from his shoulder to the side of his sorrowful face, lifting it carefully from his paw. Her heart sunk at the full pain in his face and she fought back a sudden well of emotion that threatened to spill in torrents from her eyes, another fact that suprised her, it seemed that many aspects of herself were coming through, but she fought them back and spoke to him in a steady sweet voice, "Amon, love... I don't know what made you run so fast but please, if you are able, share with me what is bothering you so much. I am here for you and am very worried"
She stops, her words being honest and straight from her heart, she only wanted to know what had botherred him so much, enough to make him run away from her after sharing such a sweet moment. The insecure part of herself wanted to ensure that it was nothing to do with something she had done and the curious part of her screamed out for an answer for such an outburst from the normally calm and gatherred Amon. In the mental anguish being played out within the normally cheerful forest, the feline did not take note of the little feeling inside of her to return to the Chaos Realm, the mental call sent by Paladin, and even if she had registerred it as a summons she would not have known how to get there. Instead, her full attention continued to be focussed upon the hedgehog who she looked upon with love and confusion.

Stealth didnt see the deathog as he limped past him. His face covered in a dark trancelike look. He seemed to be talking to himself. He growled and shuddered and closed his eyes,"Stealth.......you know shes right....the light is weak..." came the voice of his inner darkness brought to the surface by the chamber. Now it was getting stronger again and to the fox...it made a little sense
Simon smiled triuphantly as he walked into the grand chamber in the center on the pyramid. His armor seemed scorched and he idly pulled darts and arrows from his metalic parts but still he walked with an air of confidance. "WEll that was fun." he chuckled."More than that fol gave me but I guess all good times must come to an end. That stairwell leanding up to the top of the gargantuan room that must be my target." He said to himself as he strode up the stairwell up the many steps that spiraled arounbd. Still he climbed up till he reached the top. In the center of a balcony hanging in mid air was a carbon statue of mobian mythology. With a dark chuckle he touched the statue and watched it crumble into dust revealing the red stone throbbing with dark energy. The wolf reached out and snatched the gem in his paw."Mission complete lord syntaru I need an evac if you please mlord." he thought

The giant sat quietly in the rocky passageway, probing back into the depths of his mind. The mind of a creature of darkness was not usually clear; in fact it was downright chaotic with no fine vision. This was so for Andre, and he knew it. He had to clear his mind, and he had to remember. Only that way would he ever be ready for the path he was to undertake in the future. The cape that he wore slowly lighted into its original form, a sheath of black flames. It wrapped around him in the shape of a soundless sphere. Inside there was nothing but silence, no sound could slip through the barrier except Syntaru's beckoning. The scene inside changed dramatically for Andre, as he slipped into the memories he had so long ago tried to forget.
The wind was sifting through the streets of Casinopolis as the sun was setting in the distance. Transportation and the bustling of shoes were all that could be heard, though, as the modernization of the world was realized. Not a soul here cared for the green hills, the peaceful pastures, or the bright blue sky in summer. This was a place where desperate minds came to strike it rich, when all else has failed or an addiction has gripped mentality. Inside one of the many titans of steel among the chimes of slots, ticking or the roulette, or the tocking of dice against soft green, there was the sweet melody of harmony. A piano set upon the main stage of the casino, there was a well-clad man whose fingers danced across the keys in a fashion only obtained from years of soul-sold practice. The man's hair was a permed blond that moved like the waves of the ocean when he turned his head to the rhythm, and it was so exceedingly long that he had to pull it back and tie it at the base so that it did not spread too far.
His face indicated that he was not without experience, though it was clear he had not lived too long in the mortal version of life. A tall black hat adorned his head, an elegant card adorned with miniscule designs and the letter V was hidden away in the band that enclosed it. The black suit he was wearing was not cheap; it was the kind a man could only dream of perhaps renting if at all possible. A rare blue rose tucked safely inside his front pocket, and shoes shone with the best of polish. He bobbed his head to his own beat, eyes closed and instinct taking over. This man with the name of Vyse had been so used to the keys of this instrument that it seemed impossible his youth. Few cared to listen to this one-man symphony of sound, though, as the modern world was dawning upon the citizens of Mobius with ever-quickening pace. Fine pieces of musical composition were going uncared for, and the sound of the soul was slowly being devoured by the screeching of electric strings. Vyse knew this to be true, but as long as there was money to be made doing what he wanted to, he would continue writing and performing what he wanted. Screw the industry.
“Screw the industry?” Vyse said suddenly, his fingers pausing midway through his piece. No one noticed, of course, and he only sat there with open eyes that shined crimson. In front of him was a familiar face of older proportions, yet he was not much older than Vyse was. He wore a similar fashion of apparel, and even his hair was akin in every aspect. The only differences between the two were the obvious age, the second man wore no hat, and the ovals of color that were his eyes brimmed with gold. Two unusual colors for two unusual men, it seemed. The newcomer leaned on the piano almost carelessly, with an equal careless smile. “You heard me. Screw it. We play what we play, nothing will change that.” He said with a widening grin. Vyse shook his head with a growing smile as well. “If only it could be that simple, Andre.”

A Shadow Hole formed beside Legion, pulling him into the throneroom of Mt. Kahkari. The form of Syntaru made its presence known and the great demon was visible to the cybernetically enhanced wolf. The black mist wafting from the still partially ethereal form of Syntaru.
"So it would seem that you too have succeeded in retrieving a portion of my SoulGem, well done Legion, and as well you made sure to incapacitate the Goddess' warrior.. which means, barring some unforseen last-ditch effort by my dear Sister, we should encounter no resistance in the next wave of gathering.. Shade has yet to return, so adjourn to the crypts of the mountain until such a time as I require your services once more, Simon." said the Demon, absorbing the piece of his SoulGem into his body, once more gaining back strength.
Elsewhere, Gulo and Halo arrived outside Gulo's home.
"Shack sweet shack, well, at least it's a shack for now.. but once we're done, this will be a veritable fortress, an outpost for us to battle the scum of Mobius." said Gulo "Let's get to work then shall we? Judging from the way the weather's acting, something big and nasty is on its way, with a robot like myself and a vam- err uh, someone of your strength, rebuilding this place should be a breeze."

Simon bowed low to the great demon and rose up with a small smirk on his face. "Ahh you honor me my lord with a visit to your crypts and perchance an opportunity to talk with the other diciples. I wonder if they are intrested in my theorys of maigc and chaos in this technology based word."he said with a dark chuckle as he turned and left the demon his cybernetic eye glwoing and lighting the way for him as he navigated his way though the dark crypt. The clanging of metal and the whirring of servos sounded foreign in a palce of death and silence.
Stealth menawhile had stopped in the middle of the hall. he seemed to be muttering with himself but in essance it was the dark half and the light half of his souls conversing a side eefect from the chamber.
"Aww poor little foxy mopping all depressed becasue he was defeated by a small lemur. Tricked and fooled HAH! You wanna know the secret to her power dontcha? She used the shadows, yes tainted by the boogey mans magic but still she relied on shadow and darkness and it gave her such strength. Dont deny it you saw it for yourself!" The dark half said with a laugh
Then the voice of the light half of the soul spoke up."Yes...but the darkness has its weakness too you saw what happend my sword cut through them!"
"Still my better half. Its weak! just like you. I should control the body then I would personally crush the demon and that accursed goddess. Then those fools would stop using mortals like puppets."
"I just want this war to stop. I worry about evergreen...and my freinds and loved ones."
"What freinds and loved ones...we are alone in this world rember. WE HAVE NO ONE!"
"True but you didnt have to say it so bluntly. But honestly why do we fight? it seems we have the same goals."
"What are you blabbing about lighty."
"Well mabey...we dont seem powerfull enough on our own and stealth is always at his best when we sinc and since our strengths are now unbound by that chamber...what if we work together and help stealth help the goddess and we can go back to our normal lives. You cuasing grief and me trying to protect while you unleash his dangerous side.."
"Intresting....but whats the catch...."
"Neither of us have control...we leave it to stealth...the ballance point of the soul...the true soul..If we can ballance light and dark mabey we have a chance."
"fine Ill give this a trial period lighty you better not double cross me. Il lgive the fox my power as well. Ill unleash the shadow into his heart to mix with the light.
"Double cross you...look who you are talking to bub."
"oh yeah..."
Sudnely in the real area outside of the ralm of the mind heart and soul. Stealth stoo up and clenched his chest doubling over. His pupils for turned red as the darkness was let loose into his heart.

Amon looked up at Ci Ci, shaking his head for a moment.
"It, it was nothing, it was just a vision.. I saw Syntaru ascending from the pits in the Hot Crater Zone.. and I got, I just was.. a little scared.. but that's not important right now.. we.. we are needed back in the Chaos Realm, I can teleport us there from inside the Temple.. as it is Holy ground.."
Amon's words were shaky, but he knew that Ci Ci would just attribute it to the shock of the vision. He couldn't bear to tell her the truth, it would worry her too much, and there was still work to be done in the favor of the light. They took their time walking to the Temple, Amon was collecting himself, taking calming breaths.. glancing at Ci Ci every now and again. When they finally arrived on the grounds Amon got another shock through his head.. this time however he saw the fox, Stealth swarmed in darkness.
Shaking it off he closed his eyes, muttered something of a foreign tongue under his breath and the two teleported back into the Chaos Realm. They arrived just outside the central palace.
"Come on, we have no time to lose.. something's happened to Stealth.."

Imagine a vast plane of white. Unending blankness as far as even the sharpest eyes could see. Then from no where, a humungous fount of oil should suddenly spring up and course through out he land like a black tide. This pin prick fountain of obsidian oblivion sticking out like a droplet of blood an unblemished pale skin. Such was Stealth's change to those sesative to the Chaos Realm.
With the Goddess in her Chambers contemplating and preparing the Celestius Nova, the other Vanguards busy preparing themselves as well it donned on Paladin Twilight that the next in line for defense of the Chaos realm was. . .him. Drawing his staff and dashing away as best his body could. The Judicator found the writhing fox not far from the infirmary. Calling out a demanding challenge the deathog ment business.
"What is the meaning of this Greyblade? How dare you give into the darkness on holy soil! Explain yourself or be judged!"

((OOC: My apologies for my slight hiatus, but when it comes down to work and chores tagged along with the inability to use the internet at my home, it leads to some problems that keep me away. Hopefully, these things will clear up soon))
Luminous awoke with a start, his eyes blind and dark again as they once were. Soon, the light came pouring back in as he noticed the shapes of the shadows around him...A room? A bed? How...? Yes, now it comes back. The fight with the beasts as Stealth ran towards Tala. Luminous was not prepared to face them alone, and found himself in a fierce battle as Stealth chased after Tala. There were times he tried to escape, to aide Stealth, but in the end, he was nearly defeated. If it were not for a small crease in the ruins allowing light to pour in, he may not have survived.
Sitting up in the bed, he sighed. How could things have gone so wrong? They were trained for this, and yet he failed....Thinking back, he felt anger towards Stealth. Leaving behind his teammate like that...It was inexcusable of a warrior to leave his comrade behind, no matter how much he detested having a partner. The light collecting in his fists, his eyes flared white....No, not this way. This was a path to darkness in the light....No matter the trespassing, he must forgive...The light dispersing, his eyes returned to normal...
Then he spotted it. A flare of darkness...the darkness of a soul. Jumping out of the bedd, he ran out of the infirmary, seeing Stealth's form. He could only see the darkness, dominating over the light of his soul. No, he must not give in...No....."STEALTH!-"

The man clad in black known as Andre smiled to his companion of five years. It was strange, Vyse never seemed a day older than when they met. He always knew what to say, and where to go. It was like a miracle out of heaven that this man had pulled him off the streets. Andre tugged at his collar nervously. "If it were only, eh? Say, could you lend me a bit more mone-" He was expectedly cut off by Vyse. "What happened to the money I gave you before we arrived?" "Well... I... uh, spent it all. ... Gambling. Again." Vyse sighed and narrowed his eyes at Andre. He was well aware that Andre had a problem with games of chance, but he fed the addiction anyway. Maybe it was time to stop. "No." Andre's golden eyes widened a bit in surprise. This was a first. "But-No.Why-NO!" The man of six foot one sighed. He knew there was no use in argueing with Vyse.
Damn Vyse. His sharp features, those piercing eyes. What the hell was he, and who did he think he was? But then again, who did Andre think he was? With a slump of his own shoulders, Andre walked away with a beaten demeanor. He was in no position to demand, after all. Vyse himself began to pick up where he left off in his piece, his expert mind not forgetting a step. Poor Andre... what was he to do with him?
The scene slowly faded out of view in the current Andre's mind... and another was quickly beginning to take it's place.

He was not acting right, his nervous glances and even the way he looked down slightly when telling her what had happened screamed out to the feline and her ears went back, it reaked of lies. She hated being lied to, for whatever reason but she did not have time to respond or argue with Amon as they quickly made their way to the temple and even more quickly teleported back to the Chaos Realm. She put what he had said to the back of her mind, there were more important things to focus on at the moment, but she was upset. CC was a bright cat whos honesty was first and foremost in her mind at all times and she could easily spot a liar when she saw one, especially when they were as unpractised at such a thing as Amon was. What could be so bad that he felt that he could not be absolutely truthful with her?
They ran quickly, but the cat's heart was not in it and they arrived seemingly last among a larger group who now surrounded the fox. Foremost in the group was Paladin, whos full presence still bore a strong resemblance to Syth, but this was merely a passing thought as her attention focussed upon the fox whom she had barely gotten a chance to speak to. CC stuck to the edges of the group, watching to see if her help was needed but figuring that the situation would be mostly in hand withthe Vangaurd present and other Light Warriors on gaurd.
___
The lemur's meditation was broken by sounds in the usually quiet crypt, immediately she was on gaurd, though she could not figure who it may be that would enter Syntaru's layer without being destroyed by one of the many Shadow Creatures prowling the halls. Silently she slipped off of her makeshift bed and she slipped into the shadows, becoming invisible to the naked eye. With practiced ease and comfort in the knowledge of the area she goes around the convoluted hallways until she comes up behind the "intruder", finding with mild shock that it is the large wolf, Legion. She watches patiently, curious to see whether or not he would notice her presence, having never truly come across him before but knowing a bit of him from what Syntaru had taught her.
